How did he die?

kay the lightbulb riddle is written incorrectly or is something ive never heard before.

there are three switches and three lightbulbs. you need to figure out which switch corresponds to which lightbulb. you have 10 minutes before you can go into the room. you may hit any switch as many times as you like, but there can only be one switch on when you enter the room. how do you know which corresponds with which?

ask what would the other village would say and take the opposite road

the liars would say the wrong road cause they are lying about what the soldier would say

the soldier would tell you the liar would take the wrong road

the answer is "which village is yours", i think someone said it last page.

the logic is that the cannibal will point to the soldier's village which is safe because he always lies, and the soldier will also point to the safe village because it is the truth.

here is a good one from a good book, don't post if you had to google for the answer

This thing all things devours:

Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;

Gnaws iron, bites steel;

Grinds hard stones to meal;

Slays king, ruins town,

And beats high mountain down.

yep, nice one. the "old" language made it tough for me the first time i saw it in the hobbit.

your riddle has stumped me for now, i'm going to think about it
