Seeing that this all started up a couple of days ago this week, and I haven't seen a thread about this, I'd like to hear about what you all think about this lyrical "fight" between Hoodie Allen and Mike Stud. If you're fans of them or not, there will still be people picking a side or just watching it all happen.

Then Mike Stud responded with this track:

IMO I think Hoodie Allen's track was hilarious.

Like I've said before, I'm not a fan of either of their music. The fact that this has blown up has intrigued me.

I listened out of curiosity and I will say Hoodie Allen took a nice steamy dump on that Huey Mack wannabe Drake sounding motherfucker.

Both diss tracks involved Drake instrumentals. I can see why Hoodie Allen used a drake instrumental for part of his diss track aimed at Mike Stud.

Hate to admit it, but I'm only 16. Last year for golf team when I couldn't drive, I had to get rides from an upperclassman to all the courses we played. Unfortunately for me, literally the only artist he listened to was Mike Stud. That guy makes me cringe when I hear him try to "rap".

Mike Stud is basically a Drake wannabe, but we don't want either Drake or Mike Stud influencing rap.

Hoodie Allen actually has some decent lines and tracks occasionally. Mike Stud is just a baseball playing Duke asshole who made a rap as a joke and blew up.

I lol'ed the most at the beginning of the track, while Mike Stud's included a huge influx of sports references. I mean, there isn't a reason why Mike Stud includes a huge amount of sports references in his music, right?

Im taking the unpopular opinion here, Mike Studs was better. Im a way bigger fan and think hoodie is pretty much a pussy. Plus, if you know anything about either of them, you would know that most of the shit hoodie said in his diss track is actually false... Also, mike made another song about it which is way better but i have no idea how to embed

Not at all. More of an Asher Roth frat rap star. Mac Miller put himself on the map with some real conceptual rhyming and interesting/skilled production of his tracks. Especially on his new stuff (MWTSO/Faces) and it's entirely different in style structure and content than any of Mike Stud's work.

I feel the most passionate about his new album with Madlib. Probably the closest thing it will get to topping Madvillainy, but it has Freddie Gibbs. He'd release a banger track regularly, but mixed with Madlib is like the holy grail of modern hip-hop.

Hahahaa I am so glad he called out the IG drug dealer in his comments. There are so many on every rappers page and the sad thing is that if you look at their pages there are numerous people asking them about deals and getting in contact and presumably sending money to random people. Or even worse these people are actually advertising on social networks and shipping drugs and are gonna get arrested quick.
 
IMO hoodie just sounds whiny which makes me like MS more. As for the diss track, both were pretty creative.. But I feel like Mike STuds was better put together (Beats,etc)

Not really that's pretty standard top shelf prices. Anything $1000/hp and 18/p and under is decent deals for top shelf in WA and if I were to take that over to Montana same nug would go for $24 and $14 and 8 a quap is pretty standard over there.

Damn well a friend of mine just got an hp of TOP shelf for $750 here in western WA. Then again that is straight from the grower.

Your friend is getting a killer deal haha :) No hate btw and I totally believe you, just relating my experience in the past and with other people and those prices seemed pretty standard. Especially considering the ridiculous fact that these people are supposed to be shipping it to you out in fuckin Minnesota, Florida, etc.. where you can sell it for 5x that price marketing it as Cali or WA bud.
