So I have this game Socom ftb for my psp, thier are about 100k people who play it online, i made a game in the us west server called Gays only, everysingle person who came in (about 30) were homophobes, all they said was faggot, your going to hell,die, i hope you die,fucking fag, and some of them sounded like they were fucking 10 years old, this kind of hate really scares me, and i know alot of ns is like this but whats the fucking point? its the same thing as calling a black person a nigger, its blind hatred that thier parents enstilled in them. todays youth is a fucked up group of people
 
i honestly can say im not a fan of gay people, and argue what ever you want but i see it as wrong, and unnatural.

also you are grouping all homophobes, and since when is it a crime to not like someone for who they are? If someone doesn't like gays it doesnt make them closed minded, it just means they are different! so leave them alone!

the kids online didint say they dont "like" gays, they said they want to kill them, and that they should burn in hell, thats a little different then not liking a certain group of people
 
i respect anyone who treats me with the same respect, regardless of their demographics. everyone is entitled to their opinions, but respect and acceptance are two different things (not speaking for myself).

on the same token, the fact that you made a group called "gays only" and then posted it on here, knowing its gonna stir shit up, makes it pretty clear that you hate attention.
 
but half of todays youth say "gay" and shit in a daragatory way but when asked, they admit that they dont really have a problem with it as long as other guys dont like hit on them and shit. I dont think that most of us are actually homophobic, we just act that way in order to "fit in"
 
Exactly, as is any dislike in any degree of another special interest group. It doesn't make you a homophobe, just like that guy above said, it just makes you different. I, for example, am also different, because I just plain don't like black people! And I'm kind of on the fence about asians and mexicans...
 
gay is synonymous with words like bad and stupid in this day and age.

I personally don't understand why gay bashing exists. Maybe I'm just too open about certain concepts, but the idea of a man having sex with another man is not disturbing in the slightest manner.

It's human nature be curious, some of us are just bi-curious.

It is very scary to see 10 year olds yelling about gays and Jews and whatnot. However I think once they hit puberty and eventually realize that it isn't tolerated they will stop. Hopefully.

Homophobia is an opinion? Hahaha, people that say that sicken me. I'm sure that 50 years ago hating blacks was just an opinion. And before that enslaving people was a right. You're just further delaying equality, great job.
 
there is a double standard here, people who say gays are going to "burn in hell" they usually mean the men, why should it matter what sexuality you are, if you are heterosexual, go right ahead, if you are homosexual, by all means, do what ever the hell you want to, society always has to have someone to "pick on" because otherwise it wouldnt be a society
 
I dunno about you guys but I love watching men makeout, I mean really passionately kiss, what else could be more beautiful? I have had plenty of gay friends/gay boss/ exc but I just could not watch two guys kiss, its fucking disgusting, but no I don't want to kill gay people.
 
ya then how come there isnt islamaphobia and christianaphobia aand niggaphobia theres only homophobia. and theres only laws against gay hate crime. not mexecan hate crime. Thats unequal if you ask me.

second - hate crime laws were first instituted to deal with crimes against ethnic minorities.
 
yea its just that their little kids and they havent learned the significance of those words. im sure they proabbly dont even know what faggot really means. faggot also means burning embers in a fire; its an old english term. but still you cant really trust kids to know these things. they will learn one day. im sure atleast half of us in here were like that when we were 10
 
I hope it's something kids will grow out of. Most younger people especially highschool age are very insecure. They feel that if they don't pretend to hate gays they will be looked at as gay. Once they get older they realize gays are just like everyone else and very rarely will they do things out in the open that would be viewed offensive to straight people. I probably used to say I hated gays too, just because everyone else said it. Now that I'm older, I even have several friends I know that are gay. They are not bad people because of it.
 
It is so immature to hate gay people, the only arguement these people have against them is that "its gross". Well to gay people heterosexual sex is gross. And what is with people still thinking that it is a choice, shouldnt the fact that gay people say that it isnt a choice be enough? Why would you choose to be in on of the most oppressed groups in the country? ANd for the guy that said "If someone doesn't like gays it doesnt make them closed minded, it just means they are different! so leave them alone!" these are people loging on to the server and making bigatory remarks like "burn in hell, fag". You say leave them alone, well, we'll leave homophobes alone when you leave gays alone.
 
I dont hate gay people and I've never went out of my way to insult or hurt them in anyway. To go on to that game portaly thingy and laydown the pain is wrong and abusive.

I don't like gay people though and I don't think that there is anything wrong with that.

All the gay people I have ever met have been really condesending to me. Where to they get off thinking that they are so much better than I. They do that to the point of being french.

Like I said, I don't hate on gays but why are they such douchebags to me? Is it becasue I am a plainass white male? Is it because maybe my dad or opa wern't accomodating?

But this is 2006 and people shouldn't just do that to strangers.

Yes some Gay people are pricks but there reasoning behind it is the same as an affrican americans reasoning for being pricks WE WERE THAT WAY FIRST however a lot of them are nice i am not saying that you dont deserve respect and that your opinion is wrong cause that would be worng of me however it would be nice for everyone who hates gays cause they are pricks to meet the really nice ones i just wish that society was different it would make life soooooo much easier on all of us....homosexuality is gross yes but i still have many gay friends and i will never look down upon them for their choices and it would be nice if more people thought that way...
 
There is definitely a difference between a homophobe and a person who doesn't agree with homosexuality. However I think that there is a lot more homophobia then people realize.

Also to clarify things up a bit around the word faggot or fag, a lot of people seem think that the literal translation is just a bundle of sticks. And it is, but the relivence to homosexuality is that back in the good old days homosexuals were thrown into the fire to make it bigger before burning witches (thus becoming fags so to say). So when you use the word fag to make fun of your friend or something equally stupid, remember that you're bringing up a slur just as bad as nigger or spic.

don't say you don't like an entire race, creed, or sexual orientation of people...I'm sure you've been friends with someone who is gay and not even known it, but obviously because theyre gay you wouldnt be friends because you "hate gays"....and saying you hate gays is very close to saying that you hate black people which is completely irrational discrimintation. Being gay is not a choice...why would anyone ever choose to be part of a highly discriminated group? It has to do with hormone imbalances, which would increase someones feminimity thus attracting them to men...as far as this being unnatural, it could be percieved as just the opposite...some even see it as evolution for gay people cannot reproduce which would solve the overpopulation problem...

i sometimes use the word "gay" but im trying not to. i repsect gay people and the fact that they are open about it. i think people who hate otehr people for who they are are insecure about themselves and claim their religion as teh cause. people who make fun of gays are threatened or scared of them, just as racists are scared of black, mexicans, what have you. i have no problem with gay people at all go have sex with your boyfried/girlfirend if you want to it has no effect on me. people who are full of hate are ignorant and you should pay them no mind.
 
Homosexuality is not something you can "disagree with", it is not an opinion, it is a sexual orientation. It exists, it is not a choice, and there is nothing anyone can do about it so dont waist your breath crying about it.
 
I hate the term homophobe. Hating homosexuals is not a phobia. Phobia is extreme fear and hate has little to do with fear. It has more to do with intolerance and lack of understanding.

why doesnt US send all gays to like Cuba or some gay place like Baja California. THere is no reason to be pissed off about that, the reason it is homophobia is that, even if you dont see it, you are affraid of this kid because he is diffrent and you dont understand him.
 
i have nothing against gay people as long as they don't try to hit on me. i have some friends who are gay and my uncle's gay, people who hate them are just insecure with their own sexuality.
