yeah, skis are expensive, i'm really glad i get things through hookup. as for everyone bashing salomons, until you snap a pair yourself, get off their case.
'if you case or overshoot a landing on a huge ass air then they gonna break' - no...ive overshot a 60 ft table switch and landed way past the landing, blew out my knees for 3 weeks but the skis were ok(181 orange 1080's). i've rocked those skis for 2 years and beaten the crap out of them and they're fine, the bases are a little scratched from urban but other than that anyone who says they'll break easier than other skis are just jumping on the bandwagon. Pretty sure my friend's scratches have stress fractures where my skis don't, and we both ride the same stuff at the same level. They're talking about prices anyways on this forum, not the quality of the skis, go make your own post if you want to rip some company because you're 'hardcore'. The fact is that salomon pays pros like candide, simon dumont, and cr johnson to ski and that's enough for me.
