you know what peeves me? people who think hollister is upscale clothing- it's not. it's a chain store you can go to in almost any mall. it's not a boutique, there's nothing one of a kind, they don't feature designers.... although i would never set foot in the mass commercial trendy blackhole they call hollister, they AREN'T 'nice' clothes. just overpriced normal clothes. they're teeshirts aren't egyptian cotton, and are hardly different from a hanes tee shirt (well except the fact that they're probably all 2% spandex so you don't have to leave anything to the imagination). and i bet the thread count on their jeans is the same as anything you could get at k-mart. they just smack that hollister label on there and people throw their money at them. but that's a personal choice, people care about brands. although i don't and i think it's lame to give a damn, i'm in no place to judge because it's not really any different from the fact that i don't buy store brand foods. if you like it good for you if it makes you more confident and feel fresh, cool. to each his own.
