If you buy Oakley you're following a trend too. Oakley is the "cool" thing to have to wear skiing. Seriously, that's all I understood out of that pathetic excuse of a post.

Dude I said it was kind of cheap. I find cheaper stuff in there than I do at Pacsun American Eagle Abercrombie or any other "trend" fashion store.

well, the point is i will never buy oakley outerwear because for its price, the quality is not there. I could get an equally (or lower) priced helly hanson jacket/pant that is much superior in quality. Do mountaineers trust Oakley? No, they trust the best outerwear companies, one being helly hanson for example.

I personally dont wear hollister but similiar style, and well my clothes and none of my friends clothes are skin tight. I think your getting confused with skaters with tight girl pants. Real neighborhood eh? Your from Michigan, define a real neighborhood.. I am from the Bronx and travel go to manhattan alllllll the time, theres so many fags and people making fashion statements there with tight clothes etc and they dont beat up. So please, define a real neighborhood
 
hollister is not that expensive. Pants I bought there were not more than 20 dollars. However jeans are a little over the top, but I got 2 shirts for 30 dollars. Its really not that bad. The only thing I can complain about is the lighting, you walk out of the store and pull your shirt out of the bag and go, ohh my shirts pink? I thought it was red
 
you know what peeves me? people who think hollister is upscale clothing- it's not. it's a chain store you can go to in almost any mall. it's not a boutique, there's nothing one of a kind, they don't feature designers.... although i would never set foot in the mass commercial trendy blackhole they call hollister, they AREN'T 'nice' clothes. just overpriced normal clothes. they're teeshirts aren't egyptian cotton, and are hardly different from a hanes tee shirt (well except the fact that they're probably all 2% spandex so you don't have to leave anything to the imagination). and i bet the thread count on their jeans is the same as anything you could get at k-mart. they just smack that hollister label on there and people throw their money at them. but that's a personal choice, people care about brands. although i don't and i think it's lame to give a damn, i'm in no place to judge because it's not really any different from the fact that i don't buy store brand foods. if you like it good for you if it makes you more confident and feel fresh, cool. to each his own.
 
this is unrelated to the clothing, but if you look at the financial statements on the abercrombie website, you will find they have no long term debt which is really impressive. the stores are weird but the clothing is good. only 3 in canada, so i don't know how popular that shit is in the states.
 
there isn't anything wrong with hollister. and it's actually alot cheaper than abercrombie actually. i feel like so many kids on this site are so overly obsessed with brand names. it clothes.so many of you are so obsessed with what kind of jacket you have.. what kind of goggles.. etc etc. maybe it'sjust me, but i think skiing.. is abotu skiing.. . not what you're wearing. and clothes are about not being naked.. not what kind of clothes. "oakley, comlumbia, abercrombie, hollister".. whatever they're just fucking clothes.
