Henriks dew tour runs

Watching it on USA right now and I find myself getting bored of all the doubles. Henriks run has been my favorite so far...
 
funny how even though he waves his arms around in some fake gang motions and blatantly mocks the judges by making comments about mute grabs, hell never get the hate dumont does because hes "gangster".

what great role model... after all, isnt that whats wrong with simon?
 
Henrik kinda shafted by the judges. That bio 10 and his cork 630 off that barrel were a couple of the best tricks thrown so far.

It was funny to hear him talking shit at the bottom, something about next time he's only throwing doubles with mute grabs.
 
Definitely agree with you, but he was wrong about what he was saying. Mute grabs weren't a big deal, its the 3 doubles he needs.

not to mention simon was more upset with himself than anything, he was bummed he didnt win. you dont see him making snarky comments about how he doesnt like the judging (i realize his comments were in a way directed towards that, but not nearly in the same manner as henriks)

dude was straight up mocking the competition, talking about how he needs to do dubs with mute grabs to win. i just think its funny ns's double standards between their idols and dudes they didnt grow up with.

not to mention the fact that the "non skiing world" (what was being brought up in the other thread), is probably going to look much more poorly upon someone pretending to be a gang member, than someone who was upset after losing, just like every other sports player in america.

but because kids all wanna be like henrik, he wont see a lick of criticism.

Well, I can answer that myself. The people that believe that, are so stupid that nobody cares about them anyway.
For gods sake, stop with the "if you throw handsigns you're trying to convey your affiliation with gangs"! People realise that Henrik isn't a gangster, he's inspired by people that may or may not have been gangsters, and talk about being a gangster, he isn't one himself. If you possess a normal intelligence, you would be able to realise that.
So just stop. Please.

i laughed actually, cuz its true, you see a trend going on who wins and what they throw. And threads, Henriks run looks so dope, want to see his and JF's.
 
Yeah but Henrik Harlaut is a degenerate so he should be stripped of all fame and any credit anyway. Throwing his poles to the ground, throwing Wu signs, and dragging his knuckles around isn't cool.

Yeah, it was huge, especially for 3 years ago (I think it was...) And, it was a sick trick, but still, you can't complain about people doing the same tricks to win competition, everyone has done it before.
 
He spun like a top but grabbed most of the way through and landed cleanly. Didn't look particularly unstylish..

henrik is one of the nicer guys there too. he deserved more credit than he got. he disaster to tail press.

Its funny cause the winner only did one mute grab and did the same dub henrik did unnatural thats why he lost not cause of the lack of mute grabs.

you may watch b&e and be like wow this shits gay they are acting way to ganster and being magoon wannabe's, but then you gotta realize henrik is throwing some of the most tech tricks in the game and at the same time brings style into it.

not to mention hes so stoked on skiing and one of the happiest guys there
 
He's referring to the fact that you get scored higher by judges if you do a dub mute as opposed to a regular mute. I think it's kind of dumb that dub mute gets scored higher, who cares if its "more tech", its also more wack.
 
i havnt seen the footage of henrik but it sounds like it was completely different scenarios. simon didnt lay down a clean run and expected to end up in first place, didnt then bitched about it.
 
I really think that you all need to find something to do other than sitting at home and analyzing the every move of people you dont even know. Why do you all care so much about what other people are doing?How do you have any idea what they are thinking? How does any of it effect any of you? Quit bitching your oppinion about other people on the internet and find something to do. Unless you have something positive to stay quit bitching

I definitely think Henrik should have scored higher. His dubs were so much nicer than everyone else's. Also, my favorite tricks were Sammy's ungrabbed cork 7 after he fell, and Henrik's safety cork 3's in practice. So much style.
 
Wait are u kidding? Someone who does the same trick with a more difficult grab gets a higher score then the same trick with an easier grab???

Holy shit, who would of thought.
 
You're trying way to hard to prove a point we already know, but has nothing to do with this situation.
 
His clothes are a bit to big imo and I really don't like the whole gangster persona, but he threw down a pretty good and stylish run at Killington and definitely deserved a better score.
 
First, thanks a lot to everybody who supports my skiing!!! =)2, I don't think that Simon should get hated on for not being stoked on his score, none of you guys have a idea what it is like after stomping a good run (in your opinion) to get less score then you though you would...3, the mute grab thing, I didn't really watch anyone else during the comp cause i tried to stay focus for my own runs but i did watch Elias run and i saw him doing 3/3 jumps with mutegrab and also only hitting the boxes, so to me that wasn't worth 92 points. Then for his second run reverting, missed grabs and agin 3/3 mutes got him a 82 points and then i went and it felt like one of my best slope compe runs i've done and got scored a 80 points. I was still real stoked with a 5th place at the moment but i was not stoked how comps are about who can do the most dubbles and not who can have the best flow of diffrent rail slides grabs and tricks... And also after seing every pre season city bigair comp 98% dub 10, 12 mute didn't make me stoed on the fact that 3 dubbles all grabed with mute was in first place. so that was why i was like "Next stop, all dubbles with mute grab" It wasn't any towards Elias, me and him are good friends and he is defenitly a real good skier but i just think that the grabs should be a bigger thing to consider in comps!4, Ben... You are ALWAYS commenting (hate) on ever single thread,video,picture that i am in? And you always noticed the smallest little details, why do you keep watching my stuff then? I would not enjoy watching every single thing of someone i hated?! But thanks how ever for all the views....
