Helmet vs. No helmet

I usually always wear a helmet but this season I haven't been wearing mine as much. I will wear it when I'm trying a new trick but when I'm just cruising or doing something that I'm real comfortable with then I'll just wear a beanie. So I guess it just depends upon the situation.
 
Never did until I picked up a new helmet. Now I wear one all the time, even just cruising, and have taken a few good shots to the head while bailing skiing switch outside the park.

Definitely glad I picked one up, and it's comfy, warm, and wired for sound, so I'm very happy with it.
 
Would never work. People post too fast between each other on this site. The tally would be horribly jumbled.
 
i have always worn one everday out west, and have continued to do that since i moved here, but back home in wisco, i rarely wore one

 
I'd rather wear a helmet that I love and look cool and be confident than end up in the hospital b/c of a freak accident

I'm fifty fifty, i just feel more comfortable wearing a beanie than a helmet but every now and then when i wear a beanie im just like damn i could fuck myself up if that happened.

i got too used to just throwing on beanie at Hood cuz its too hot for a helmet there

but im about 2 start throwing on a skatet helmet on again because i hit my head the other day pretty hard and realized its not worth dying for my comfort/appearance on video
 
no way man, get a helmet, put your blunt in your helmet so it doesn't get tweaked/broken when you biff it! helmet protects head AND head adjustment.
 
yeah but if i have already rolled the blunt there is no reason to store it in my helmet. there is space to fill in my lungs.

Why would you not wear a helmet? It lets you go a bit bigger because of added protection, it protects you, and you don't look like an idiot for not wearing one. There are lots of nice helmets that look good - Bern, Rossi has a couple nice ones, the G10mx is nice, there are tons of helmets that look fine.
 
They're mandatory in the park, so I wear one if i get so bored that i have to go in there. But then i dont feel comfortable jumping with it on.

really not too much in too park anymore anyways, so i kind of stopped wearing one.
 
depends on the weather and where im skiing and who im skiing with.

ive started wearing one in the park since i got knocked pretty silly a few weekends ago just doing a 180 onto a thing it dropped off and i hit my head the stupidest things are always the things you get hurt doing
 
I wear my helmet most of the time. Especially with ice coast conditions. But sometimes I just opt for the beanie, I look way cooler. :P
