in a society where obesity is seen as an epidemic the fact that people are so overcome by a video game is just plain upsetting. i mean seriously, why is north american culture so absorbed with video games?

wouldn't you people rather be outside doing something active instead of sitting on your ass in front of a TV?

Haha I see no posts in this thread from kids who bought the game. They are too busy playing to tell us how the game is. There were a few kids that skipped school today to play the game all day.
 
i am actually so happy that I never got into the whole halo thing, because from an outside point of view, all of the people who are really into that shit look like such tools.

I would rather read a shitty book for school then bike for 2-3 hours, biking isnt fun to me. if it is for you, great.

you dont get whats appealing about video games because they arent appealing to you. I don't get whats appealing about dave matthews, but a lot of people like him. I do understand halo though, and if I hadnt blown all my money i would have it right now.
 
i've only played halo2 a couple times and with a bunch of other people that never play. sorta fun, but would be more fun if you turned it into a drinking game.
 
if you are all playing against each other, when you die take a drink.

or if nobody dies often take a shot. or two shots if it's a head shot or whatever.

Who are you to judge people for doing what they enjoy? Some people like to do stuff outside, some like to play video games. So you like to ride your bike. Great. I do too but I would rather play Halo 3 than go for a bike ride. I spend A LOT of time playing video games. Sorry. I enjoy it. You can think whatever you want about me, but I like playing video games as much as I like playing sports. Sorry if that upsets you or you can't understand that people have different ideas of whats fun.
