Why rip on the west coast? You know they will being enjoying endless powder and vertical all season long. Something us people from the Midwest and East Coast can't say. It's great you got snow, but shut the hell up.

let's see, Wolf Creek has gotten over 9 feet of snow this year with 8-18 inches by Monday afternoon. I know you guys don't get a lot of snow every year out there on the ice coast, but 24' is a purty mediocre storm for the west. I don't understand how easterns brag how much snow they got from a snowstorm when places in the west get over 600 inches of snow a year, shut up.

Hey kids, It snows here too. 9' today with 6-12 more tonight. Plus we can actually use that snow for something because we have these things called 'mountains' and they're like 3,000 feet tall, and you can go all the way down them, and not even break your ass on the ice when you fall.

Make fun of the west coast all you guys want, whistler got 40cm new yesterday, not bad! At least we actually have mountains, with rocky peaks, and endless backcountry, I don't think the east coast hills are all that huge. The coast mountains rock, there is so much terrain out here it is unbelievable.

The east coast can get 10x more than the west for all I can care, all I know is that they just won't be able to ski it. Their mountains aren't ready for that kind of snowfall, not to mention they're gonna have a hell of a time trying to ski powder on a near-flat slope, ha.

hey we (west coast) got like 80 inches in a few days a couple weeks ago and its only been going up. i was sking in about 4ft powder a couple sundays ago. and we're probably only getting started, its gonna snow alot more than that this winter

i represent the far west coast, being from alaska. and at sealevel here we get more snow than the east coast does up in elevation. our mountain is at 80' going on 200' and its at sea level.

oh yeah and our sea-level ski resort on the west coast averages 750 inches a year. nuff said. i don't really feel like mentioning all the other places you can ski up here in alaska, for example cordova, valdez, and anywhere else you can land a helicopter/feel like hiking for endless amounts of untracked powder and most likely a place no one else in the world has touched.
