Gymnast's invented afterbang

There has been a lot of talk that snowboarders started the whole afterbang/rideaway trend... i tend to disagree. Gymnastics girls started it, after their routine, no matter how poorly they just did, or how sloppy their dismount, they always jump forward, throw their hands in the air and have that look on their face that just screams "i am trying not to look to cocky, but i am deffinately using my peripherals to check how many bitches are fingering themselves at my routine right now." of course its not good to have hands up in skiing, so slightly modified......go

a lot of people care dude,

and i think hes 100% right, my lil sis does gymnastics

shes pretty steezy

the real question here, i think, is whether that is truly afterbang, or just claiming the shit out of it. i'm leaning towards the latter.

afterbangs about stomping the shit out of a trick and looking like the shit doing it though, gymnasts 'afterbang' is about claiming a trick by making yourself look like a bigger fruitloop than you already do with those tights that scream "THIS IS MY WAY OF COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET!!!!!"

watch womens gymnastics in the fuckin olympics, then you'll be like "wow, they do stomp everything, and they stomp hard too, they're like fuckin tom wallisch"

i see some similarities...

for it really to be similar, the gymnast would have to land with the hands up in the air,....not landing then raising hands up.

gymanysts do that to show how correctly they did it. afterbang is done to show how natural/easy you do something. however, both gymnasts and skiers both lookin fuckin dumb doin it.

i have never EVER laughed so hard on newschoolers before......NEVER!

thank you so so much.

This thread is the most legit one ive seen in years. very good point

LOL @ this thread.

I think im going to start doing gymnast afterbangs to claim my tricks.

And start coming into rails aerial style with my hands up.

This thread is now responsible for the newest style revolution in skiing...
