The marquette mountain website is not updated with the park conditions. When do you guys think you will have the park all up? Over this break a bunch of us guys from down state want to make the trip up but want to make sure it is worth the trip. Post pics of what you guys have or just keep us up to date.

The park won't be up for probably two weeks, We had a long warm spell that set us back a bit.

We're making snow in our public, and main park, and we have a bunch of basic rails set up, also a flat-down-flat.

I've been hard a work building new rails here are some that will be up shortly.

4-20' round coping boxes (one six feet tall)

2- 24' straight rails

4- 12' straight rails

2- 16' straight rails

2- 20' double barrels

not to mention 60+ foot jumps all season long, with smaller options.

Riding the expert park requires a park pass(5$/day).

The public park will have a nice 3-pack with 15and 30 foot jumps on each, with rails and boxes mixed through two slower runs.

People should be satisfied with the Public Park, and blown away by the MM Park.

30 bucks for the season, you only need the park pass for the expert park, other parks will be free

Do you guys measure the big jumps from lip to the top of the landing or the flats after the landing?

I dont know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

All of our jumps our measured from the end of the lip to the end of the roll over(The top of the steep landing.

This is

how i measure the jumps.

The Park will be finished by the 22nd. it's about halfway done right now.

And we have a sick public park with three jumps in a row, about 20-25' stacked really close together. All three jumps have smaller options.

below that is two easier runs with small jumps and rails mixed together.

Under the main chair lift we have 5 rails set up, with three jumps about 25-30'. All of the jumps will be changed to rails on this run.

For this weekend there is two 60 footers a 40-50' step-up and a 25' set up jump on top of the park.

If you have any specific questions you can e-mail me at stephenshelby@hotmail.com

nice diagram steve....

we measure the jumps from the end of the take off to the knuckle, so we basically measure the MINIMUM distance you have to travle in the air to safely make the landing

skiing sucks

Next friday night there is a rail jam, from around 6pm to midnight. i'm not sure on prizes, but our park is dope right now, Today i was out hitting three 60+ foot jumps and the wallride after it.

I got to the top of the wallride today. I can't even start to talk about the rail setups, they are the ill nana.

ATTN. Marquette riders...the GR rail jam is off the ground. Its being sponsored/promo'd by 280 studios @ www.280gr.com. They will have posted info the first week of feb. I know you guys have a camp on the 26th but we're shooting for the 19th of march. Spread the word!! Give me feedback on the GR Rail Jam forum. DJs, breakdance comp, food, Peace.

280 put on that big air at cannonsburg, which was a pretty good time. If i can afford it and am healthy, you can count on me being there. I love riding with all the lower penninsula kids, bunch a hosers, cept Lane, hes a dousche.

I'll be there for the breakdance comp. I'm gonna spike my hair just like that white guy from 'You Got Served.' I'm working on my video to challenge everybody whose gonna be in it too so that they will be super intimidated by my mad skills.
