GTA V

Trying to find some bikes to downhill MTB. but Im just aimlessly driving around mountains. Anyone know where some are on the tops of the mountains?
 
I'm like 25%through and I didn't realize you can save through your phone! but you can't fucking save during a mission, so I need to either complete the mission or fail and skip it. They should really fix this, what if I'm in a hurry?
 
Just got here, no bikes at the bike shop. Took a ride up the tram, punched someone off the mountain and headed back down to see if any spawned. One did and you can ride it up the tram!

just got an xbox, havent had a chance to look at it yet. does it come with a free live subscription? do i need to pay to play online?
 
It depends on what system you get. If you get the one that comes with kinect, I'm pretty sure you get a month trial, But it has a real small HD. If you got the 250GB one, it doesn't come with the trial.
 
Me either, looking at Gatos crew, Ankle breakers, and on my screen it says PS3 network.. so maybe you just build and have people on both??
 
no you have to do an ~8gb install of disk 1 before you can play. the map alone is huge, i read somewhere that it's 2x the size of manhattan by scale

Very true. One thing I really admire is I don't have to wait like a minute during the loading screen before the cutscene to get to the mission. They nailed it with the transitions in and out of cinematic scenes. But yeah, Hes gonna have a bit of an issue with that 4GB HD if he doesn't get some sort of external source of storage. Its a massive game.
 
I definitely agree it would be so awesome if a lot more buildings were accessible. Making a stock market that actually fluctuated would be so hard though when you really have nothing to go off. You'd essentially be blindly investing in companies and how would they decide what makes the market go up and down
 
It shouldn't. Some of my friends do that it runs fine.

Also, I was playing yesterday and I came across this like dirt road-like thing with a bunch of trucks and dead bodies laying around it with a suitcase full of cash all like "don't take that". I think they're referencing No Country for Old Men.
 
Idk whether it was the fact that Michael was wearing a straight up suit or when he flipped off the camera at the end that made me laugh more
 
2 weird easter egg things i found.
one was me in the desert wandering around and franklin went "this place is fucking weird" right after some guy shocked me or something and i woke up with just boxers on on some train tracks.
2 was me by the windmills and i came across a camper with rednecks fucking i killed them and then went and looked at the mans penis. it was there 100% in detail. fap fap fap

 
After having put in a good ~15 hours I have come up with a list of things to fix

1) I have had issues where the texture isn't there, I can see through the map

2) add a speedometer

3) make more buildings accessible

4) cars should take more damage than the do. It's ridiculous how they are right now

5) add skiing

6) you should be able to knock over light poles/ smaller trees
 
^definitely a speedometer, if the dispatcher can say how fast you're going they should just implement one into the map or next to it
