I just did a random side mission that pops up as you drive by. It was with the McCellon (sp?) brother from Liberty City. They're robing a store and need a ride so you pick em up and get away with them. Then use them as crew members later. I thought that was a pretty cool add in.
 
I'm taking my time to beat it, I feel like i'll be bored after I'm done.

It sounds stupid how beat it in the first couple days, I mean it took 5 years or so to make and you finish it immediately? I'm like 70% complete at "the big score"
 
Yeah don't do it IRL. But I'm making mad bank in GTA with this shit. Can't wait for online so that we can manipulate it. Though I can see them making sure that doesn't happen.
 
I think you mean the McCreary brothers. Packie and some other dude. I did that side mission like the first day it was so random. They mention Niko bellic a lot too
 
Oh yeah, I've been checking it a bit today and its been increasing at an hourly rate. PIS is gonna be worth more than HAL. Gotta sell them by 4pm mtn, So 6PM eastern and 3 pacific.
 
I was also reading up somewhere, Some dude dumped like 100 mil for each character into those two and is got at least 1 billion for each character right now. People will be doing this all the time once online gets launched. I'm sure rockstar will catch onto it but in the meantime, Have fun with it and make bank.
 
man this $10 xbox is holding up well lol. 120gb ftw. This game is pretty cool...I will have to renew my live so I can play with you all
 
i though it was just fluctuated randomly, because when i killed a ceo in my game the stock would go down and the other would go up. so i really don't know whats going on in the game.
 
I made 50% gains doing the assassination missions with Franklin on some of them.

1. Save the game right before starting the mission.

2. Start mission and find out who you're killing and what stock Lester is watching to invest in after the guy is killed.

3. Reload the game to before you started the mission.

4. Invest EVERYTHING each character has into the stock mentioned.

5. Carry out the mission.

6. Sell off said stock 2 game days later.

7. ??

8. Profit.
 
This, there are some tuts to do this.

I have 163 mil with Franklin, 100 with Trevor and like 73 with Michael. If you did it properly at the end of the game you do all of the assassination missions you can come out with a billion with each character.
 
Well I put all my money from each character into pisswasser stock about an hour ago, hopefully I can make at least a little bit of money by the selling time.
 
Is there not a PS3 crew? I just looked at the Newschoolers crew and noticed that most of the members are xbox.. I can make a ps3 crew if one does not already exist.
 
We'll we can't take newschoolers I guess.

Maybe something similar or something that's represent skiing. I'll think about it.
 
Downloaded the online update, created my character and watched the cutscene but its says the rockstar servers are down so I can't play. I'll try again when I get home from classes.
 
there is so much to do and shit online, it's a whole new game. Having to keep your money in the bank, and if someone kills you they pick up some money from you. You can buy trackers to put on ya vehicles and they show where that vehicle is on the map. It's crazy
 
I feel that with this online world, it'll either be structured, or pure anarchy.

I could go for a healthy blend of both though.

I'll check it out tonight.
