Grouse

jib park is sick, but quik park is filled with dirt. thier one jump has dirt in the inrun, and a flat landing with dirt in it. and the bottem of the screaming eagle is a pond. but jib park is super fun
 
I was up while they were rebuilding and they moved the table they had a bit to skiers right so it's angled at the exit of the park and moved the top of the park up about 100ft. It looked like they were going to have the old run in as a landing but I left before they finished so I'm not sure
 
But rocks are sick, just today I fell off a rail at Grouse and rolled onto some. So happy I bought a Seymour spring pass aha.

I dunno man, the park on cut is actually really sick right now and is up to par with Seymour's current rail status (jumps are another story). Right side is: elbow flat bar, down rail, rainbow rail, flat up flat. Left side is: flat box into the big flat down and then it funnels into the last 2 left side hits.
 
Dude. Maybe you just like being an asshole on the internet because hating's trendy now, but nobody cares that you rep Seymour and hate Grouse. People will ride Grouse regardless of what you say, and ride Seymour regardless of what you say. There is no gang war between the mountains no matter how hard you try to make one. Sorry.
Grouse is still a mountain, and people still go there to ski. Skiing gets people stoked, and any place that can do that is worth being around. The shitty management and all the negatives of Grouse don't take that away.
As "whack" as the mountain might be, people are going to ski there and will want to talk about it.

But seriously I don't even live in Van any more, I haven't ridden any of the locals this season, and seriously don't give a shit which one has a better park right now. Your hate is just annoying.
 
Look I'm not denying that Seymour has got a good thing going, they've got one of the best jumps to be on a shore hill in a long time, but rail wise Grouse is competing. I'd tell you to come check it out yourself but I have a feeling that won't happen aha.
 
Why? Grouse is pretty day to day, not quite as consistent as other mountains so you gotta state the times when it's good, aka right now.
 
You know, the really sad thing is that you're Seymour's park manager.I wonder what they would think about your attitude online?
 

no andrew manages any department at seymourmaybe you could use me in charge of yours, could do better things with a couple logs and a shovel

Uh ok, what is "mine" exactly? I haven't skiied in over a month but if you're so keen to take over Grouse's park you'd have better luck dealing with Jeff Silcock than me.

Andrew speaks the truth about Seymour, it's sick up there no doubt. But he doesn't even ride Grouse so how can he speak the truth about it?

Agreed, I don't mind people who promote their own thing and do it well; I just can't stand people who suck at doing that and don't have a life so all they do is put down other people's.
I mean I've seen Seymour's and I know its sick, but every time Andrew says something it makes me not want to go there more and more.
Anyways I'm done with Andrew, I'm depressed I even spent time typing him responses.
 
100% on the same page with you man. It's kinda sad that if he thinks that it's worth posting that stuff. I could use the same vocabulary and say that Grouse sucks and Seymour is rad when I was in 7th grade.
But I'm done with it. I too feel retarded for giving him any attention. Feeding trolls is never productive.

I'll be stopping by Van next weekend and probably be skiing Seymour. If anyone else is heading up I might see you guys. Haven't skied with any of you for a while.
