It started snowing at about 8:15AM today (Oct. 26th 2011) By 3:00PM there was about 5cm of snow on the ground and it was still coming down, slowly but surely.

Get your gear ready, the seasons coming.

 
I witnessed the snow today in Whistler, it was awesome to see everyone so stoked.Cant be far away now, heard a rumour or two that the opening may be a weekend early.

Vancouver's only mountaintop ice skating rink is now open. This means skiing and snowboarding is just around the corner! We know everyone is *really* excited, and so are we, so we will be making an announcement soon!

Maybe hype? Tomorrow would be unreal
 
I feel it very soon, since Cypress is stealing their customers (And yeah... I did post that on their Facebook page lol.)
 
Its going to happen this week I'm saying they tell us somewhere tomorrow, or if not then it has to be next week.
 
not gonna open till the red skyride is back up and running, i think it'll be done tomorrow and they'll open friday
 
Guess what?! Wax those bases, sharpen those edges, sleep in your boots and zip up your coats... Grouse Mountain is opening tomorrow at 2:45pm! We are very excited to be announcing the opening of our Winter 2011/2012 season and we *know* you are too!

Thanks to everyone who has been checking in and building up the excitement for what promises to be another great year! Now spread the word, and get up here tomorrow for first Skyride at 2:45pm.

Grouse was soooo smooth I rode at night only so it was icy, but now its clear skies and im heading up in 15min :D well g2g get ready haha. The rails were very nice.
 
on the left side they have a flat box then the big red pontoon in the middle. 2 bonk things then tthe down flat handrail and on the left 2 flat boxes
 
Yeah, idc if they have 3 flat boxes. The one flat box before the pontoon is so setup nicely that it all flows really well.
 
does anyone live in Coquitlam who would be down to give me rides from time to time? gas money obviously everytime.

definitely worth going up right now

the scissor kick no hop k fed is apparently the official trick of grouse though, whatsup with all you guys doing that on everything!
