The earliest Grouse is closing is May 1st, and the latest is May long weekend because that's when their Winter Insurance runs out. So yeah, beginning of May.
But if this rain keeps up I wouldn't be surprised if they called it quits a bit earlier, today was miserable.

with basically no snow on the cut for all of last year they pushed closing to may 2nd. this year they could run half cut till june if they tried.

Oh yeah they could easily keep runs open well into June, but unfortunately for us, Grouse makes about 70% of it's profit from the summer season. Since March, the vast majority of people going up Grouse are pass-holders, not ticket buyers.
I may be wrong about Grouse's winter insurance ending the May long weekend, but I'm fairly certain they'll do what they can to get their summer preparations underway. With that being said, 6 meters of snow is 6 meters of snow, and I wouldn't want to have to move all of it.

i'd almost be down to buy a $100 summer pass from may long weekend until the snow melts, not that they'd ever do it..

Yeah, they're already servicing the red skyride for summer operations. Speaking to the tram operator today, he seemed under the impression that it would be open till early May too.

and what's with all the autoplay vids in this thread? scared the shit outta me cause i left my speakers n woofer on full blast

Yeah, it's quite annoying to open 5 tabs/have music going, and then start hearing a video play, and not know which page it's coming from.

I bought a y2p for next year but it seems like seymour is better and less crowded, i tried looking up the prices and it only told me the spring prices, so whats the price for a pass at seymour?
