dont sweat it, Its a tough process but it will improve your style in the long-run because it forces you to work with different letter forms. I changed my name from SENOCLEF (2 years ago, I know right, its not even a fucking word), to RISE, to MIST, to MUST, to POCET, now POKER.
It helps, trust me
 
Just got my Reloads. 2 whites, 1 Smurf, 1 Chrome and 2 black (reg size). I'm just gonna save them for now and blackbook a little more.
 
What do you guys think? I thought of this when Speck started putting cryptic by his stuff (not trying to bite) and slanted it like SP One's tag.

Anybody use Junobo mops yet? I wanna get two mops and a refill. So far the reviews look good, but what you guys think?
 
i hate them, you have to fairly slow for them to look good, i would recommend smash ink from ap, you can go fast and has about the same consistance of junobo. i have playa blue and grape depression right know.
 
Wow. I'm very impressed. I was interested with Junobo because of how thick and opaque it is but I think that trumped it being an ink. Getting some right now.

Yet another question from me. Can you clean out a mop nib or is it permanently stained?
 
Sup guys. This is my first post on this thread. I want you guys to check out some of the stuff ive been doing and i need some questions answered. I've been blackbooking for around 4 months so im not very good.

Heres the alphabet i tried from speck's little list of goals posted earlier in the thread. Top layer is decent but the rest went to poop:

I'm going more towards the characters side of graffiti but i think its also because im horrible at pieces/burners or whatever you wanna call them. I've gone out with paint twice and were fails both times. first time i went under a bridge second time i tried the CHOMP throwie on a train. I've just been goin with the black and white rusto but the problem with the throwie i threw up was it took forever to fill in. I was litterally there for like 5 mins just doing the fill. I know earlier speck was sayin in should be done in 2 mins so i was thinking...

- Should i buy some caps for the rustos ive been getting from walmart?

- Where can i get them for super cheap?

- How do you guys get the money to buy paint? its fucking expensive.

I get the name chomp because my favorite animal is an alligator if anyone was wondering.. So that pretty much sums up my history of doing this shit. I like all the stuff you guys have been putting up too!
 
buying good paint isn't that much more expensive. You're probably paying 3 bucks or above for rusto from wal mart? You can get MTN 94 for just under 5 bucks at several different places online. 94 isn't the only option, but it will go much further than rusto from walmart
 
Its $3.77 for rustos at walmart. you have to pay for shipping with the other cans and i can never buy in bulk because im in a little money crunch.
 
no, from what i have experienced you cannot. if you use paint thinner or paint removal or any kind of alchol, and you dont throughly rinse it off it will basically glue the little plastic spring thing and you will not be able the nib. as for the mop it does not matter all to much. i have went from black grog to red grog and nothin has happened. with smash ink it will solidify in your mop so its no biggie.

** if you bought smash ink, you can not let it sit in mops, if you fill up a whole mop you better use the whole thing within 2 days because the xleyn (sp) in smash ink will harned you mop nib. (not like you have ever heard that before.) I have went through like 5 mop nibs.
 
reading this thread taught me that graffiti is probably a more strict art form than classical ballet.
 
I saw that on a review. Just clean it out after I'm done for the day? Thankfully I bought the ink out of the mops.
 
Blackbook dump. A bunch of throw ideas, a couple simps/rollers and an exchange piece that I hate because of the fill I did. Just ruined it.

And gnar I put the new throw up under my local brigde Sunday night. I'll get a flick soon. and I know Ninja was having to take care of his mom for the past couple weeks so no bombing for him. No idea what Speck is up to. Haven't heard from him on here for a grip.
