literally doing some of the most basic stuff out there, but i started last week and havent had much practice. Mostly been throwing up OFWGKTA tags places, not any original OFWGKTA tagl, but i thought i would throw these up that i did in school just to contribute.

Trying to decide on a name still? Do what Speck has been telling me, write the alphabet over and over and see what letters feel comfortable for you. Then work from there.
 
Tell me what handstyle is your favorite ( i like #1) and what character. just sick and messing around. I know these suck but don't hate im just getting into this. Messed up a bunch such as number 4 handstyle and the fucked dog thing on the right page of charictars.

Don't be so uptight with your letters. The goal is to have them correlate with each other in a smooth fashion.

Much thanks dude. If you're serious about it, just keep working at it. Your throwie is a little generic and your H looks like a backwards N. Add some flavor to it. But I wouldn't take too much advice from me. I'm still a huge toy. I'm working on some tags for you and Tusk. I'll post em in a little.
 
Yeah art's never really been my thing. Graff is just something im looking into as a hobby and a way to get a little creative. Who knows it may become my passion that's just not my plan.

 
nope always been repressed with kids who've been killin it. the face of graf in the 80's was white and greasy jewish artsy kids coming in from the burbs, especially on the east coast, PA and NY.
 
your getting better already! im not loving the piece but im loving the fact that your really into graffiti and thats all that matters, keep at it dude and keep trying different styles. look up "PERSUE" try some letters like his and post up some more, and if you want im down to draw up some more throwies/pieces/tags for you because the best way to learn is to observe other peoples style
 
Thanks man! I'm for real about this. I just hit the jackpot today, too. My friend is hooking me up with free paint cans tomorrow from his work. Like nine cans or so. I'm planning on putting up another throwie somewhere with it.

And Persue's shit is so good - I've seen it before. Dude is wayyyyyy out of my league. If you want to mess around with my tag, go for it. I'm trying out those other two guys' tags, messing with the letters and stuff.

and as for persue, all im saying is try to figure out the key accents in graffiti that you like to use and try to develop a more complicated style. once youve done this going back to simple letters will be easy as sweaty butter and your style overall will improve a lot.

and ill definitely draw you up a more complicated "ACEK" tomorrow, ive got lots of time at school so ill mess around a bit.

 
im off to blaze and hit the hay, KEEP AT IT ACEK i like how you actually care about improving.

one thing though is i would wait at least a year or so to start spraying in the city, just work in your backyard for a bit and gain style through your blackbook. You always think your at your best and then you look back in a year and realize that you used to suck. ive been doing this for the last 4 years hahahaha its rewarding though

One way to help is to draw with your thumb on top of the pen/ marker. Sure it will feel weird but it will help with actual can control. You won't be able to move your wrist as much (also try to avoid moving your wrist as it will seem more like drawing than painting) it will help you transfer over.
 
Oh my god. Talk to her tell her that you worked hard to pay for those and that it's not fair she just threw them away and then make her pay you big time. or just slap a bitch
 
I know, but he could say he will get her in big trouble for property damage or some bullshit excuse and she would believe it, or say you make murals for a living and you had to use those for your job.
 
Meh his fault for getting caught. It's called common sense. If you have it sure there are times you still might get chased but it's not hard to out run a cop if you are in shape they aren't going to full out chase you for over 10 minutes since it's only graffiti.
 
Anybody want to do an exchange? I wanna work with some other names, experiment around with it. Also, been messing on some other tags and kinda like this A.

One/Oner = Solo writer, throwie = inbetween a tag and a piece, Burner = piece that takes long time, Toy = bad artist/style copier, Bite/biter = style copier.
 
sort of... oner usually refers too a one liner, throwies are like a quick bubble letter thing that you do in public hella fast. burners are basically inbetween a piece and a throwie.
 
I thought the concept of a burner was that it took so long that it burned a lot of time or something. i've seen people use Oner in their name too. oh well. you usually get the main idea.
 
And I was right. Its quarter to 3 am and I'm just all hyped up on writing. I finished my piece for an exchange on Bombing Science. Check it.
