Graduate season passes

I just graduated from college, and I'm looking to see if any resorts here offer some sort of discount for being young and just out of college. I feel like I had maybe heard that some Colorado resorts were doing something like that. It's a huge jump to go from roughly $500 to $1000 haha. Anybody know anything?

Yeah, most places around here seem to cut you a break for a year or two after college. Then you hit what I eventually did, what I like to call the "Fuck You" age bracket. Enjoy it, getting bent over for $800+ as your EARLY season rate definitely sucks.

are you sure your'e not confusing the "fuck you" with the "I should be a fiscally responsible adult bracket?"never graduated higher edjumacation, but it don't take no 4 year degree to figure out the

"they give them things out in exchange for skills and services" bracket.

vets deserve discounts

young adults and grads

not so much

No, there's no confusion. I have a "real job" behind a desk working in town (Park City), graduated college with honors, etc. The problem with the real jobs in Park City is that they generally under-pay because they know demand is high to live and work here. Couple that with the high cost of living(especially in Old Town) and the fact that you aren't doing it frat house style with 6 roommates, and you aren't left with a lot of spare cash. From talking with friends in town I'd say most jobs here that require a college degree probably pay somewhere in the $25-$35k/yr bracket... so yes, paying the same rate as multi-millionare seasonal residents does in fact suck.

Park city 1st world problems are toughnot sure what your degree or job is but gots plenty of friends who figured out that competent food and beverage service to people with money ussually results in 18-20% of sales

+ the $2.13 /hr for just being there. With $9 bowls of soup +30 entrees and overpriced udabc wine lists $200 a night aint that hard.

I slinged drinks @ steins for a season and made decent coin.

Not sure of the hour commitment to score a pc pass w/ the adoptive sports program these days but

it used to be entirely reasonable

last i checked voli trollers @ B right on only needed 18 days commitment.

most mountains have gone to a voli mt host program.

most marketing budgets allow for a lot of freebies, if you posess a skill that would help them. market

and there is always the we don't need no stinkin bullwheels earn your turn option.

but ya your right going to college or being a young adult should totally qualify you for a discount

at least the same as someone who has served their country
