Good outside of park skis

i dont ski much powder cause i ski in indiana and take maybe one west coast trip next year. i want something good on hardpack/ice

I got the k2 seths a few months ago and skied on em like 20-30 times. They are awesome in the powder as u could guess, but i was pretty impressed with how well they did on hardpack as well.

public enemies, good both in and out of park, and they fucking truck through ice, sleet, slush or powder.

basically look for a twin tip with good sidecut if you want something that is good for carving. As for a being good on ice, you want something with a little beef in the construction, look for skis with metal in it.

Honestly if you want a good out of park ski, go for a good all mountain or even race ski. Most all mountain skis will have some what of a turned up tail that helps release turns easier, and also will ski switch decently. I've worked in ski shops for a few years, shoot me a message if you want anymore info or recommendations.

t halls are nice on the hard pack, but there a park ski, maybe the new PE's i hear the carve pretty well and there not a parks ski, but arv's are also pretty nice on hard back, maybe even pipe cleaners

^well they are K2 says they are, but i really dont like the new ones for park that much, they have got more like an all mountain flex to them

my PE's are mounted too far back for good park riding. However, for the rest of the mountain they kill everything, better than my ancient rossi carving skis. Pow is decent too.

Aren't arv's noodly? they're so soft. I wouldn't think they'd be good all mountain, but whatevs.

volkl makes some stiffer and more stable twin tips than most so i would imagine they would be the prime option for a outside of park carving ski

Dude your in Indiana, wtf is there besides park? AR6's or PE's are all the width you need without compromising park performance

Arv's... How noodly are they??? They seem so soft with an in store flex? Sounds like that woudn't be good for ice or heavy snow, or slush.

PE's do kick ass. Mount them where it is marked center on the ski and they can do everything. They are good going swtich but can still kill it when you are messing around off the trail. Still not that great in powder though. Need a fatter ski for taht
