Gonna put a rail on chads gap

a couple years ago i set up a 25' rail on the landing of chads gap but i bitched out. this winter its goin down! i think i'm gonna set it up as soon as there is enough snow ideas?

I feel like there are a number of people that don't know that is part of the newschoolers call out. Faith in humanity has been lost :(

not another one of these threads. but in all seriousness, shooter box on pyramid gap is very possible. there's so many better gaps to build a giant gap to rail in grizzly and flagstaff.
 
I always wondered , can you build chads a bit shorter ? like building the lip a bit lower in the gulch making it a step up ?
 
Your fucking retarded if you do. people stopped hitting chads gap for a reason. Not worth it bro, all your gunna get is some internet fame for eating shit or landing it.
 
You would either have to keep it about the same place and build the wedge out maybe another 10 feet, which would involve creating a HUGE wall of snow on the back side of the wedge (not worth it) or you could work SUPER hard on the inrun and MAYBE build a short stepup (also not worth it.) Because of the transition into the jump most people build it as far out as the terrain will allow and it still takes 2-3 days

There's a flat section where the jump is built, then a really steep, short downhill which would be almost impossible to absorb at speed for any reasonably sized stepup.

Besides all that, since it's been doubled as is, building it small just seems silly. haha.
