Alright, i've defended lines bindings for a long ass time, and i've put up with alot of problems, such as my toe and heal piece moving, and my breaks catching, or my suspension frame coming loose, and i haven't said shit, but now, some stupid little fucking pegs that hold the whollllleeeeee suspension frame together, decided to strip off after hitting maybe my 6th small jump of the season. The whole frame comes appart in 2 pieces now, and im left skiing on my old beat Scratches until i get a pair of LOOK bindings mounted on my Lines. I've got to hand it to line, their skis this year are fuckin sick, but their bindings still need alot of fine tuning. IM stupid for buying simply on hype, and i know i should have probably waited a few more years. Great idea, bad design, simple as that. For those of you that don't have problems, your lucky, enjoy them. As for me, maybe next year, or the year after, or maybe never, who knows

thats the beauty of the 2 year manufactoring warrantee, its on paper that i will get my money back. At least one good thing comes out of this

they will send you new product....or whatever u want that costs like 50 bucks more than the bindings...which is a ton of tshirts and hoodies and junk....or they will send u the money u spent on the bindings.....they were really coolw ith my buddy who broke his one his first hit out in beaver creek

No they're not... The idea is ingeneous, so they probably have no problem losing a little pocket change until it takes over the entire industry. They give that warranty to find the problems quick and fix them from a riders perspective. You watch, soon everyone will have the inserts and the pivogy system because it is remarkably revolutionary to the way bindings are single handedly changing the sport. (i.e. less injurys to keep thugs in the game longer)

no, line can't lose here. They can keep perfecting their binding on their own, or if they are losing funds, they can just sell the concept to a reputable binding company and get shitloads of money for it. That is if worst comes to worst.

good idea but like there skis it took them a while to perfect them either way its a good idea but i would stick with looks for a while longer to make sure.

 
i got them for xmass and skied on them all week no problems so...mabey all the bad stories are because of human error and not the bindings fault.(just my thought)

 
You shouldn't complain about the bindings weight unless you are talking about lugging the skis across the parkinglot. An ounce here or there doesn't make a difference unless you weigh like 15 lbs.

fuck man got them for x-mas(and didnt really want them) and will be taking them out this weekend. i hope i blow them to bits and get my money back. that way i can put some looks on my pimp daddy chronics. yeah and the weight doesnt matter. i can ollie just as high with them as my skogens with looks which are about a pound lighter per ski. the weight is underfoot, who gives a shit, its the quality im worried about.

and EVEN if they wanted to worry about it the bindings weight is right under your foot, you wont even notice it when you ski em. but yeah i agree with you on that, just ski fools.

I tried my first flat 5 the other day and landed on my feet, didn't even fall, the catch is I had no skis on, the fuckers pre released. So now in the heel I got them at 8 and the pivogy at 7 1/2.... I'm 150 lbs, 5'10', thats gettin a little high in the din, Im just hoping they dont pre release anymore.

by the way, my skogens with reactor 10's are lighter than my friends Ar5's with p10's, and much lighter than my other friends scratches with axial 110's.

Did you guys that are having problems get the binding mounted to your boot at the shoop first. Cuase that part still has to be done at the shop.

my shop fucked mine up. the had one toe piece on L and the other on M and both heel pieces at 300. so one was waaaaay too tight and kept releasing from doing simple light nose and tail presses in my room. make sure that the forward pressure indicator thingy is correct(make sure that tiny metal tab sticking out of the toe piece is in fact sticking out .5 to 2.5mm. if it is recessed they are way too tight and adjust the toe pieces forward, thats what i had to do.) when you have a boot in the binding all you guys who have prerelase problems.

dude. 8 DIN isnt that high for a 150 pound guy. i ride 7.5 DIN on my line bindings and im 140. the line DIN is also different that every other binding. the charts are different

Its not too bad at 8, but Im just used to my p10's being 6 1/2, and I never pre released with those. But ya, the chart is slightly diff if I remember right. Im just nervous about too high of din, I mean you buy the bindings to be safe, I dont wanna worry about not coming out when I need to.

you really cant go wrong with the line bindings, they come with the 2 year warrenty and you know line always backs up that. Seems like a few of you have had problems. ive demoed them before and had no problems, granted that wasnt that long of a time but im willing to give them a chance. I plan to get some motherships and reactors soon

O yeah and for those of you that say look bindings are superior, yes i do like them but i have aready broke my bindings 3 times in a course of just over 1 year

 
the pivogy system changes their din scale, if i had a pair i would put them at 6 ish (i am 140), 8 is really high, unless ur nucking futs.

your height and weight are only half of the Din formula... skier type and boot sole lenth are the other half.

if they dont adhere to the proper din chart, then technically they are non-standard and i am pretty sure it could open them up to some lawsuits...

It's a great idea, and it's been a great idea ever since they first put it together, they need to put in heavier springs and lighter compnents that, you know, won't break. These bindings ski awsome and I really like them, I would own a pair right now if I haden't heard so many horror stories

mine are dope, but are def preleasing on butters and some 180s which is pissing me off, what am i supposed to do with that? oh and weight...its under your foot so its not gonna feel different. weird thing is i can do 5s and switch 3s in park but when i do little 180s and butters they fall off.
