Seriously?

So this company that has failed on so many levels is going to produce these. This is the dumbest thing ever. You know how you make fun of the people who ride segways?

Now, the segway-wheelchair...Seriously no one is going to buy this.

 
I'd sure love to sit in traffic for an hour in that thing.
Can you imagine getting creamed by another car or truck in that thing? good bye.
 
What's wrong with 4 wheels? If you're going to have 2 wheels, put them in line and call it an electric bike. So much more practical. This is just something else the rest of the world is going to make fun of us for. "Fat american's can't even stand up. They have to sit down to get around"
 
that thing is seriously one of the queerest things ever..when i see the mall cops in subway i fuckin laugh. but this? come on
 
god damnit let them fail! then all the employees can move to work at Toyota and Honda who are actually doing fucking something constructive these days. it seems like that would be the most logical thing to occur, that is if Toyota and Honda and what not see the opportunity and invest in purchasing all the old GM factories. voila! go market economy!
 
don't forget mitsubishi! they just released a new electric car for production in japan and new zealand, and i was told that it would definitely be converted for north americans and mass-produced here within about two years.
 
ah good for them. im also a big supporter of the electric car movement. Mitsu is rad.
 
Why can't they create electric bikes or mopeds? It would be an efficient way to get around and faster than a bike. You don't need a license to drive them and you could be exercising at the same time.
 
this company is worthless. they are obviously a bunch of geniuses if this is what they are doing now since they are doing so well.
 
All of these car companies are far behind Scott~ Industries. We have been working on developing a teleporter for the last 15 years and research is going well. If you are any part of the transportation industry or say work as a lifty at a resort expect to be out of a job within 10 years~

first it isn't the first concept of a single/dual passenger personal mobility vehicle, toyota came out with a crazy 4 wheel version that reclines into a streamline high speed mode or stands tall for low speed general transport.

second those who think it'll be a reason for other countries to laugh at fat americans, it actually will have more appeal abroad than at home, highly congested urban centers in asia where mopeds are the norm would probably be the best target markets.
Now i don't think GM is making many smart moves at all as of late, and this concept is a bit strange, and probably will be executed better by asian manufactures, but a lot of what is being said in here is wrong, and just dumb.
 
Right because the turn-around rate for a working prototype is totally compatible with-in the time frame of receiving bail out money -- do you people think at all?
 
thats kinda sick i mean teh segway was sick to but didnt really have much practibility for the most part this will be pretty sick if i had a big factory or somethign would make things easier to move around

if you can drive these on roads, you have no chance in an accident. even against a smartcar....

if you can't drive them on a road, they are just completely impractical.

what i think is funny is that you're trying to take a shot at him for using a word that you'd probably have to look up.

kinda reminds me of Idiocracy, where Joe sounds "pompous and faggy" for having a larger vocabulary than everyone else.
