What the hell is the purpose of using a word that a large part of your audience doesnt understand?

Yes, exactly I called him out for using a word for the primary purpose of making other people feel stupid, and himself seem more intelligent. Grammar spelling and vocabulary are some of the most pathetic ways of trying to assert your own intelligence, especially on the internet where no periods abbreviations and butchered acronyms are widely accepted. How about you make your case using logic instead of shit you picked up from your SAT vocab tests or the latest novel you had to read for your english class~

i would have a real discussion with you but i'm afraid i might use a word that you don't want to have to learn. i would hate to inadvertently expand your vocabulary in some way. if we were not on the internet i'm sure we could communicate in some form of grunts and growls instead.

i highly doubt he was flaunting it. i think perhaps he was just using his vocabulary. i mean, what's the point in having an extensive vocabulary if you're not allowed to use it?

You have to be kidding me, can you read? I never said nescient shouldnt be used, I said that in this context nescient was poor choice of words due to the audience and that it made him sound very arrogant. Now that you finally understand my original contention, I suggest that you go back and re-read all of my previous posts so you can actually respond with something thought-provoking~

I dont know why everyone gets so hung up on this lol, its kind of like a signature for me. I do it on every forum, and have for years, its purely habitual. The only purpose is for it to be my own mark I suppose. End point is, that it doesnt matter lol~
 
Did anyone bother to think it's a fucking word and you're arguing over the assumption that I was trying to be an asshole and by doing so have shown us all what a true asshole is? I mean was it really necessary to start all this?
 
Arguments are fun. I start them all the time, over anything, because they are an excellent way to test your knowledge and logic.

I thought you were being an idiot, called you out, and I wasnt the only one. In the end, it was much more about the use of upper level vocabulary in poor context, and you were just an example. Im sorry you think im an asshole because I called you out, but youll live on somehow~
