Getting to your mountain

about a day of air travel to get to Colorado, Utah, or Wyoming

5 hour car ride to Vermont

2.5 hour car ride to Big Boulder

1.5 hour car ride to Mountain Creek and Windham

It just so happens that this list, in addition to being in order of farthest trip to shortest trip, is also in order of best experience to worst experience...

this is all coming from New York

depends on how many tourists are: a) going slow on dry roads with a little snow on the sides or b) tourists who have driven to fast in their SUVs on snowy roads and crashed causing a hold up.

Less than 5 mins by car. I could hike for around 30 mins, hit some sick untracked backcountryish lines and ride up to a lift, all taking around 40 mins.

haha yeah actually where parleys and foothill meet. sometimes alta takes a little longer than 25

about 2 hours to my place in whistler then like 5 minutes to the lift

1hour 15 minutes to three others that are closed right because they don't have enough snow
