Geopper getting heated lol

He's 24, but Tom was born with style!! Tom didnt even start hitting big jumps/parks until he moved out to Utah for college. I think its pretty amazing and inspirring how far Toms come considering he didnt even enter the comp. scene until he was around 20...give or take a year,not sure.
 
I understand this was "directed at the judges", but the dude is 17. give him a break. i'm sure he looks up to all you guys.
 
what nobody is realizing is that while the pic and the 4bi9 vid are making fun of judges primarily, it is also saying that goepper didn't have a good enough run to win the contest. that is offensive to both the judges and goepper. props to him for landing the switch 14, but clearly this is all saying thats not good enough and goepper didn't have a good trick.

False. No one said anything about his first run, which would have also won him the event with a 94. Clearly, you have come to the realization of nothing and all you are saying is that you don't know what you're talking about. Goepper's second run didn't deserve a 95. His first run did deserve a 94.

Poor nick. That first picture is directed at the judges, but it uses nick as an example so he will no doubt be offended by it. La familia could've made it so that it's less aimed at nick somehow, he is new to the comp scene after all. And the 4bi9 video is obviously a joke, but there still are people dumb enough to get worked up over that...

If you seriously compare Goeppers run to that of Tom's you will realize that while his first run may have earned him the 94 he should NOT have beat Tom. Tom had one of the most technical rail sections that I have ever seen and his mirrored switch 10s we're absolutely flawless. While Goepper may have hucked tricks that were a lot larger magnitude wise Tom's run was one of the cleanest most dialed runs I have ever seen and easily should have earned him over a 94. It was the judges fault that Tom didn't win but shit happens I guess. The Guacamole Sundayze is for sure just making fun of the state of comp judges and not to poke fun at Goepper unfortunately his run was the perfect example of flawed judging. Maybe they should have put something in there about Shaun White dragging his hands too just to alleviate some of the tension but who cares now everyone just needs to get over it.

Wait its called FREEskiing right so that means you HAVE to do a steezy slow 9 to be cool or you have to do a dub cork 14 to win a comp everyone has different styles of skiing

props for atleast trying. This is just my opinion, but i thought the vid would have actually been funny if you didn't single out pro riders like Nick. I think it's pretty sad that 4bi9 goes and makes a vid about it and single out Nicks trick at the last dew stop. Anyone competing knows that the comp scene is about spin to win, it's nothing new. 4bi9 riders are in the same comps,doing the same spins, trying to win just like everyone else. If you were really just trying to call out "competition skiing" as a whole and the judging behind it, I think 4bi9 did a poor job. The video portrayed the wrong message
 
this sport is FREEskiing aka ski how you like. So nobody should be hating on geopper for opening up on a huge trick even though i dont think he should have won the comp but he threw down hard
 
exactly if you dont know by now that you have to spin to win dont sit back and complain cause you have a ton of style its a competition so you should do what you can to win not sit back and complain about the judging and that it sucks because they judge on the biggest tricks instead of the steeziest yes everyone we know they do that but theres nothing we can about it so just go and ski and have fun and ski however you want to im all for bdog and edollo and 4bi9 but not everyone has to ski like them and just because everyone like them doesnt mean they should win

Goepper's 2nd run was not good enough to win the contest, even under the established contest judging scenario/what tricks and runs get high scores(spin to win). the judges fucking blew it on Nick's 2nd run. Completely blew it. The picture features the specific incident that most highly displays the disconnect in judging currently and in turn people are taking it as a personal slam on Goepper when really it is a knock on the judging.

saying a landing was bad and over-scored does not equate to a knock on a person's character.

However, Nick's 1st run was the winning run of the contest under the current judging scheme and he would have still run with his 94.00 if the judges correctly scored his second run as a 76-84 (my estimate)

Goepper is so damn good, everyone knows it and his KOS is a perfect highlight of that.

point being, freeskiing judging needs some serious change.
