Its funny how upset you guys get haha. I'm not crying about it. I objectively told you straight up what was happening. Did you not read the part where I stated that I don't like watching Geopper ride in the first place? The answer is probably no because you got too upset. Love how fast you are to call me bitch over the internet. If only half of you got the shit beat out of you, this site would be a lot better.
 
bro 4bi9 guys arent haters at all. They even say it on the original video "no hate on geopper" the more that people speculate or read into the intentions, the more it gets blown out of proportion. They said it wasnt to hate on geopper. It wasnt a retractionary statement. it was said as the video was being released showing intent before it was questioned. There is no reason to imply that some underlying issue is there when there isnt.
 
Okay I feel that. Wasn't aware that there was a video pertaining to the picture. Just kept seeing this thread pop up and the comments were annoying. I still standby that it was kind of a dumb way to make fun of judging, but to each their own. Thanks for a sold post though man, better than this other crap. +k

Goepper got judged so well because he tried something different and more technical than most other competitors. He showed growth from the other contests. Yeah, i didnt look all too good, but Wallisch beat Bobby's harder run because of style. These guys all got judged the way they did for a reason. Plus, we get to watch everything over and over and over again in slow motion to get to see every bit of it. Judges get on chace to see it in real time, so if they blink, they might miss something. /rant

i dont understand why people on here dont like him, all anyone preaches on this site is " style is how someone skis, not what they wear" but nobody stays true to that. kid has some solid style for sure, but judges deff do not look at style as much as ' AMPLITUDE". Nick does a good job keeping his comp style where the judges want it and his edit/freeride style where we want it
 
so i guess those judges completely missed the rail section then, huh? and watch both of their first two runs and then try to tell me that geopper deserved 2 full points higher for doing an extra 180 on the last jump and doing less tech rail tricks and hitting a BOX. we watched that last jump in real time there and we all thought geopper was going to die but somehow he scored higher. you kids are in some serious fucking denial here and trying to find someone that actually knows how to ski to agree with you would be rather impressive.
 
Check plus. I don't understand how anyone can honestly defend that last run. Goepper seems to be a great skier, but shit, there is no way that last run should have scored in the 90's, not even a question about it.
 
once again....another kid incorrectly assuming those not in love with Goepper's style must take issue with clothes that fit.

For the millionth time, just because you yourself are not perceptive enough, or savvy enough, to notice how and why Goepper's style leaves something to be desired for some, don't assume it has anything to do with fucking clothing.
 
How about a shout out to the judges for getting it right sometimes. EX Alexis Godbout the last two years at Breck Dew Tour. Straight up oozed style both years and got 1st and 3rd place. Super stylie runs that no one talks about - guess it's more fun to hate.
