Geopper getting heated lol

Evidently you haven't watched many comps this year, it hasn't been primarily about spin to win. Only two primary 4bi9 riders have been in the bigger comps this year, and one has won most of them without 'spin to win'. The video may be making fun of spin to win, but the real dinger is on his landing - that should have dropped him 10 points minimum (if you're judging it like every competition judged this season, last season, or the season before that). He may be 17, but that doesn't mean that in an open competition he should be judged as a 17 year old. As a 17 year old he's fucking amazing - by and far the best 17 year old around. As an open competitor he's got the skills to vie for just about every comp win, but his 95 run did not deserve a 95.
 
I think its terrible that Goepper is hating on 4bi9's X-games run. 4bi9 had so much steeze in his run compared to the stuff Goepper usually puts out.
 
Wallisch winning most of them with three dubs? All 1080s+? You don't call this spin to win? Do you think wallisch could throw down a more stylely run, of course he can. I really dont' see why people care so much about the 95 because he still would have gotten first without that second run score. If wallisch wanted to try and up his score to beat Goepper, he would have had to change something in his run, he was obviously pretty content with being the dew tour champion at that point. I've watched every comp this year and have been for the last 10+ years and this comp. didn't seem anything different. Spin to win with a shitty judges, nothings different, it's been like this always. Style is subjective, for example I think geoppers style is more appealing than browns, I know most people don't think so. Atleast years ago the commentators and skiing community would be stoked on comps regardless of a flail or poor judging, lately all people do is bitch. Why are we bitching so much? Skiing is on TV, be stoked!

Here's 2003 super pipe for you incase you weren't born yet. I'd much rather have commentators and the ski community be this stoked on runs and less concerned with if their pinky moved during the trick.

I just find it pretty funny that Wallnutz's cronies are so cranked up about someone getting a higher score at some point for in their career for even a single run no matter how inconsequential it may have been at the time.

If his girl broke up with him, would they make an edit outlining how much of a loser her new bf is? Possibly a meme describing how much more elegant and classicly beautiful Tom's features are and how smooth and flawless his penis is and how that's so much more important than the sheer inch count from her new man? I just thought it was funny in a sad middle school kind of way, fucked if I actually care about any of that shit. As far as I am concerned, somebody has to be praised for pushing it outside the comfort "stompage" zone at some point simply to encourage others to do the same or else we'd all be watching the same flawless straight air grab to stompterbang all day, which would obviously get boring as fuck in about 30 seconds.

Why do you all pick on him ? I think the judges should be criticized ! The guy did his run, he never decided what score he would get and there's no reason we should criticize him or his trick (well okay don''t get me wrong, the trick highly technical but soooo sketchy and a huge lack of style!) Make a thread on judges, not on the poor kid !

The 4BI9 thing was funny as hell. It was a JOKE on comp skiing and they did a great job. Skiing needs more honest things not just bull shit.

So in the end Nick is still the man because he is fucking rich and 17 years old. Being that young means he will only get better and more importantly his style is going to get way better then it already is (KOS edit reference).

Competition skiing is what it is. Nick is an amazing skier and has style for sure. He's also a very driven and motivated kid that knows what it takes to do well in comps. He's had style since he's been a little kid, I've seen it. I'm sure he'll continue to improve as well. And to whoever said he was not a cool kid, you've obviously not talked to anyone who has ever met him, because nobody would ever say that about him. Nick is about the nicest kid you'll ever meet, someone you'd want your daughter to be around. Funny video, don't believe it was directed towards Nick. It's good seeing people trying hard to change what they feel needs to be changed, and steppin up instead of being a bitch and just whining. Way to step it up 4bi9

So stupid. Sure, point is making fun of judging. But if so why not put "welcome to new-age judging" instead. By saying skier they implied Geopper at fault. Before someone calls me retarded, yes I understand you all think they are laughing at the judging, but its still at Geopper's expense. Just because you like the edits they put out, doesn't mean you have to all stand up at once and defend them as if they're some saints. You can't sit there and tell me it has nothing to do with hating on Geopper. If they were really upset about judging then they should have done a different meme. No reason to excuse their incorrectness. I don't care either way, I don't like to watch him ski, but thought this thread was pretty fun so thought I'd chime in and add to the melding pot of blind stupidity.
