hah my old school had the GSA too and it was just a bunch of foolishness, its like a dating plan for gay people from what i can see lol. there is nothing wrong with it but they shouldnt make such a big deal about it, like ok you are gay now shut the fuck up we don't need to talk about it to everyone 24/7, yah i like pussy but do i notify everyone about it all the time and make a group called pussy penis alliance lol
 
I guess it is wishful thinking. I like to think nothing in behavior is genetically pre-programmed. I just want people to take responsibility for their actions and admit that they made themselves what they are, and not attribute it to some genetic predisposition.

 
This is easily the most hateful thread I have ever seen on NS. My good friend's brother was beaten within an inch of his live in Boston two years ago. They followed him after they saw him kissing his boyfriend goodnight. They yelled faggot and other insults at him and he returned with the middle finger. This was enough to get the group of 4 guys to beat the shit out him all the while yelling shit like "fuckin faggot" and spitting on him. After they knocked him unconscious, they pissed on his bloodied face.

Don't any of you sheltered 16 yr olds on here try and tell me that being offended by the word faggot is out of line. And furthermore, don't try and tell me that gays have had no injustices against them. How would you like it if somebody told you your entire life is a sin and you should be killed?

You really know me don't you. You're right I have no idea what it's like. I never had a brother who was gay, I've never seen him alienated from our family. I've never seen our whole circle of friends turn on him. I've never seen him so depressed it possibly drove him to his death. You're absolutely right I have noooo clue.

Whether or not you think it is right or wrong, those are youre personal or religious views and you are entitled to them. You are not however entitled to judge others on theirs. If you are christian I thought the whole thing with that was God was to be the judge, and not you. If your just against it for non religious reason, well then its not your thing. But no one should ever have the right to judge someone else on their beliefs.

At the same time though, you should always be open to new ideas and be willing to grow. Otherwise the world will move on and you will stay the same.

So if someone wants to be gay and they are proud and they want to show everyone how happy they are in their lifestyle, let them.

Straight people do it all the time. We hold hands. We wear wedding rings. We buy calendars and display them in our garages with the doors open for others to see.

So seriously, get over it. People are gay. Always have been.
 
I'm pissed at my redneck ass friends because they refused to eat with some gay kid. We were gonna eat dinner with a coupe cute girls I wanted to talk to and then they asked if they could bring their friend. Now they think I'm a homophobe too. So it ended up just 3 dudes eating together and the questionably gay kid hung out with the girls. Fucking south

funny story there was a OUToberfest in a town near me and in the paper leading up to this fag fest the people of the town were fighting about whether it was right or wrong in the opions section..... it was pretty damn funny....

im just surprised that there are a number of people at your school that are out of the closet. i mean, i have 2500 dudes at my school and yeah there are a few poofs (limp wrists ect) but no gays that i know of. must be becoming more accepted over there....?
