Other than the initial twin tip design, ski design has recently been leading snowboard design with rocker, reverse camber and reverse sidecut. Libtech admittedly have the Bannana technology but I don't see that lasting as is, its causing all sorts of problems for edge sharpening. The edges can't last long after some sharpening.
For outerwear dark colours will be coming back and for skis I think they'll become more specific to particular snow conditions and uses. Also rocker will chill out and stop spreading itself over every ski! (K2's range can't stop talking about it its crazy!)
