I will provide a serious answer to this question, based on current fasion trends.
I think that styles will start to go back towards earth tones and solid colors in fabrics that have a "rugged" quality look and feel to them. I think Trew has a very fashion forward line this year and I believe that is where style will be going. Think back to the style in 1242, lots of solid primary colors, navy blues, grey and yellows, hunter green and browns. I am thinking in particular about the original "Puffy Pant" that had a quilted pattern and tanner wore in hunter green. I think those were dope and that's where style will be going.
Styles and fashion trends go in circles, the late eightees and ealry nineties gave us the bright neons and flashy patterns. Then the late nineties gave us the seatle grunge flannel and Huge baggy clothes (who hear wore JNCO's?) then in the early 2000's things turned more subtle and in some cases preppy. That is where high fahsion is right now, and I believe that is where fashion in skiing will be going. In the next 5 years outerwear will be similar to the clothing 2 years before and including session 1242.
