Full Tilts are getting out of hand...

I bought a pair of Full Tilts last year and they are so comfortable, the main reason people are hating on them is because people aren't going to boot fitters.

Full Tilt boots are perfect for the feet that fit them, if not, then like all other boots they will be horrible on your feet if they do not fit

Cool the hate

To all the people talking about Dalbello and Raichelle (not sure how you spell it). Sure enough they also have the similar design as Full Tilt, but did they actually market themselves much in the newschool scene....no? Therefore newcomers to skiing will not have heard of them, but will have heard of Full Tilt, go to a shop and ask for them.Full Tilt are great, their customer service seems spot on, and they offer all the interchangeable parts to customise your boots to maximise skiing performance which differentiates them from other boots. They also makes some rad, comfortable boots (if they fit your feet!) i love mine, got a pair of high fives, had them for over a year now, with probably nearing 200 days or more skiing on them and they are still perfect.I love you full tilt!

i dont care what boots people buy as long as they stop tucking their pants into them to let people know they have them...

the same people that buy full tilts dont own poles...

i bought them because they were a great fit, and insanely cheap. they fit everything i needed in a boot for park riding. thanks full tilt!

FT's are sick. the dumb ass kids whose feet hurt is just because they haven't gotten them professionally set up. my friends with hotdoggers had to go to the shop like 3 times to get them good, but they say they are the most amazing thing they have ever put on their feet now.

I don't understand the huge trend in your boots being 100% completely comfortable. I don't think boots are supposed to be too comfortable like almost a slipper...cause then your not getting too much performance out of them.

no gremlins????

That would be so cool to have gremlins on ski boots.

That being said everyone can have hurting feet in a s

i have a EE foot width so full tilts are completely out of the question for me. but theres a reason so many pros ride them. pros go with companys because their product is the best fit for them. . . most of the time. and yeah people are influenced by what the pros wear but when the pros ride them and they fit great. its like a steal.

1 - He/she doesn't need to tell you how many pairs they give away. It doesn't matter.

2 - Costs have gone up from 30 years ago? No shit? Really? I wonder why? Hmm

my feet have too much girth - hence why i have spks - and love them
let the boot fit the foot, not the foot fit the boot... iiiiiiiiiiiieeee???!!!!?

haha

this year, almost every single park skier at my mountain has them

some gaper asian i rode the lift with had them too haha

How many people have tried on a boot from every company?your foot is only going to fit one kind of boot.you see the kid with new boots that aren't full tilts or pro models and laugh at him.but I bet his feet don't hurt.

Chill out man no need to attack me i was just puttin out my opinion like everybody else on this thread...don't gotta call me out on it... And yes i agree that you should get whatever boot fits your foot If full tilts feel good then cool.

LET ME SOME THIS UP
full tilts need to be heat molded. otherwise your feet will hurt
fulltilts hurt like a bitch for a week or two, then there like slippers

i tried on my friends first chair full tilts and they fit perfectly. some kids may buy them for the name i can definitely see that but compared to the boots i have right now, spending the extra hundred to get fts would be worth it.

i really dont get that. bragging about the fact that you own full tilts is about the dumbest thing i have ever seen. i would kick my own ass before i rolled my pants up to show off my boots

They actually would have copied it completely but because of patents they couldn't use cables nor the same buckle placements. Plus it's why FT uses cables in the first place- large metal buckles prevent the tongue from flexing properly. Not to say it doesn't ski well or fit well, but Dalbello didn't improve on the design, they went around it.

Then they need to figure out a better way to solve the problem with buckles or cables breaking. I think the design is great! I have a narrow foot so the 98 last is great for me. I don't like the fact that i have a chance of breaking them everytime i ride, so...I went with something different. Just an opinion.

Im on my third pair of full tilts and never had a cable break. Worst thing thats ever happened was a screw came undone and i dropped the buckle. Luckily i found it and found a screw laying around my house that worked

i remember reading about them coming back as a design, and seth telling how hes been hording flexons for years. i picked up a pair then, and still have them, three years later. bought them back before the cool website, tom wallisch, and before the zebra print.

i got the il moro, aka fts on steroids, they are great. im not a fan of fts they just felt goofy on my foot but i love the 3 peace boot so much better than 2 peice

Whats your point? If it aint broke.... who cares if the mold is from the 70's? The turntable design heel has been around since the 70's... and you see people riding that all the time too. Whats old is new again. And yeah, they have good marketing, good for them, thy are making money, god forbid a ski company profits from their product.

And like many other people, I didnt buy FT's because they are cool, I bought them because they are the ONLY boot that came in a size big enough to fit my huge feet, and my feet also happen to be really narrow. Plus I could get them for 150. And I didnt even get mine in cool colors, I dont really give fuck about that. I want my boots to just work.

Ive never heard of anyone breaking cables? Over 200 days on mine and never broke a cable.

And I did like the Dalbellos I had before the Hot Doggers.... but the Kryptons weighed probably 3 times as much as my Hot Doggers. Full Tilts are ridiculous light.

The only two problems that need to be addressed is:

1. The micro adjustment in the buckles does need to be beefed up a bit.

2. The plastic used is light and thin, but varies too much in different temps. When It's cold out my boots stiffen up considerably more than I'd like them to be.

nigo? Sounds like a cool new word to start throwing around. "Ohhhh that was so nigo" or "your style is straight nigo dun" I think your spelling mistake on bingo? just brought some shit to the table, good work!

i won a pair of the full tilt orage boots and if they would've fit, they most likely woud've been mad comfortable. shit happens eh?

I say otherwise, the best boots money can buy aren't a brand name, i'd say the best boots money can buy are the boots that fit you best.

do you also think its unreasonable that cans of pop cost upwards of a dollar, when many years back they only cost like what, 25 cents? im pretty sure coca cola hasnt changed very much in their recipe to improve it enough to quadruple the cost.
