Full Tilts are getting out of hand...

dalbello are the only boots that fit me.

i love the 3 buckle. i got crazy high arches so the 3 buckles has a purpose.

FT,nice, but wayyyyyyyyyy to narrow .

but then again im a girl in size 23 boots......

i have narrow ass tiny feet and hate shinbang so they work for me. a shop worker recommended them to me and boom it was love.
anyone with an iq above 50 knows that buying boots without trying them on is stupid, fulltilts do not work for everyone, neither does any boot. /thread.

you make a good point man, itll fit some people great, others not so great. it al depends what type of foot you have. they dont change the molding because its awesome!

you all should take note that they don't pay any of their riders, they all choose to ride them. thats strange right? maybe they actually are good boots?

but yes, there are some people who probably bought them because they are allegedly "cool"

same thing happens with just about any other thing you could imagine

some people love their full tilts and think they fit great.

i personally have never ridden in them so i cant really say.

but i do think some people only get them cause the brand name is so popular.

im sure not everyone though.

i rock tecnica's and they work great. i never get shin bang or anything

full tilts are amazing! and you should learn how to spell ridiculous like it doesnt even save anytime and you look like a retard

my local pro shop in halifax refuses to sell them because if they dont fit perfectly unmodded there very hard and picky to work with to get them to fit right. the shop prides themselfs in being the most experienced and profesional shop around so they cant afford to stock a boot that cant be commonly conformed to nicely fit a wide range of peoples feet. personaly i cant wear them because my feet are wide and just plain weird. they moulded me a pair of spk kaos boots and i do say they feel way better then any sneaker ive ever worn.

I was so excited when I got to Whistler last winter because I finally got my hands on the first pair of Full Tilts I had ever seen...I tried them on, and they fit terribly. I was upset, but I understood that your ski boots are your most important pieces of equipment, so I gave up on FTs and looked elsewhere. I now have a pair of SPKs that fit like a glove. No pressure points to speak of. You've just got to have a head on your shoulders, to be able to say, "Fuck, it sucks that these Hot Doggers don't fit, but them's the breaks. Cross those off my list." It's like the guy in the store said to me when I tried them on: "The boot can be the most technologically advanced thing in the world, but if they don't fit, none of that is doing you any good."

besides how a boot fits my foot, i like to have a boot who's colours say " hey, look at me ski!!!"

i have a really wide foot too. and i didnt get my current pair of boots fitted. i wonder if i still can.

full tilts/flexons fall apart. the feel and flex is all i like about that boot. Also, as a custom ski boot fitter they are not the easiest boots to work on and the shell does not take a boot plane. I have Intuitions in a 09/10 Kaos with the rubber toe, and the old gel heel. 08/09 Ghosts with Intuitions. For that narrow foot shell, i prefer Dallebellos krypton shell, and Salomon falcon shell. Intuitions will make your boots lighter, and give you a better feel.

Listening to people whine about people buying gear like this kinda gets to me. Freestyle skiing is a sport that is still up and coming in terms of big companys poring money into it. Theres nothing wrong with kids buying full tilt boots cus Tom Wallisch wears them. Little kids see these guys and want to be like the big pros so they buy them. You won't be complaining about this when Full Tilt is funding a competition your in

mine hurt at first but i gave them a try and its weird because they hurt my ankles while im walking but when im in my skis they feel amazing

i bought a pair of them and hated them.. took them on one run and put them in the box and sent them back.

This is very true.

There are two categories of people who buy Full Tilts; people whose feet fit FT's best, and trend whores.

There was a kid at Hafjell last week, who had full XL Saga, 2010 Hot Doggers and no poles, none of which were conducive to his learning since he couldn't yet slide a wide box sideways.

no they are NOT. i really wish people would stop saying that.
they might be the best for YOURRRRR foot but not the best money can buy for the next person.
for example, i could MAYBE ski in a full tilt for 1 run, and i would be so focused on the pain in my feet that it would be enjoyable...so fulltilts are prob the worst boot i could possibly by, but that is simply because of my foot shape.
its time for lucifer to make a thread.

4 of my good ski friends all own full tilts

AND they all ride with poles too.

unless we're at jibyard, poles get in the way there whether you have full tilts or not

Been rocking these boots since back in 6th when i was a mogul skier.. raichles, then kneisel, then flex-on, and now this years fulltilt. No more hunting for used ones at thrift stores...........

that's not the idea of what he was trying to get across.
They ARE the best boots money can buy - but they also have to fit your foot. If only they made different volumes of the boots, everyone would have a pair, because it's the best boot design ever.
