Full Tilts are getting out of hand...

I was talking to a worker at my local shop. He was in awe of how a boot can come into the shop and sell out so fast. We got talking about how so many people are influenced by what the pros ride and stuff like that.

The point of thread is this, I see kids on my mounatin, maybe 10 or even 15 with full tilts. They complain about their feet hurting, and all this shit. It is begining to get rediculas how kids are just getting full tilts for the name. It's just plain stupid.

Indeed. I tried on 5 pairs of boots at Ski Rack in Burlington, VT and walked out with a pair of FT Booters that felt like slippers on my feet.

when i got them i had to dremel the toe, sides and get rid of the arch in the boot cuz my feet had soo many pressure points. soo worth it tho fit like a glove now

The reason people buy FTs is cause there the most comfortable boots you can buy, if they fit you. Have you ever even tried any on?

by no means do I think all people buy them for the name, It is said they are the best possible boot If you have the right foot.

I think it is rediculas that there are so many people that dont have the foot and still buy them to look like twall

I went into Ski Rack, tried on 3 pairs of boots (including FT) and walked out with last year's Salomon Impact boots for $350. Score!

Im sorry, but i missed the whole purpose of this thread. Are you trying to get less people to buy FT's just cause you think there overated? Let people buy whatever they want

haha i agree with people... people ARE buying them for name etc but I wish fulltilt as well as some other companies woud make a larger range of lasts. Ive always had a slightly wider than average width and i was bummed when i couldnt even fit my foot into a fulltilt haha! they seem really dope looking but more importantly i think they are a great deal! You get a 3 piece boot AND an ID liner for the same or cheaper than other boots on the market

BAHAHA sorry if you think this reply is a dick answer but really? you think tom wallisch mike hornbeck steve stepp will wesson and andy parry all magically have the right foot for full tilts? wrong they get em for free and ski them better than the majority out there. full tilts can fit the vast majority of people if they get them properly fitted and molded. they are a great boot. the design is genius but dont buy em online and expect em to be the perfect fit. go to a shop and pay some bitch to get up close and personal with your feet it will be worth it. thread/

Well sucks for those kids, but full clits fit my feet better than any other boot by a long shot. Never has my heal stayed locked into a boot like it in my life, been so light, and so comfy. I RUV ZEM

1. Secure, narrow fit

2. Comfortable, unique flex

3. Envelope the foot for maximum performance

4. Light as fuck

stupid thread

i bought spks a while ago because of how awesome they looked. they fit my feet good though luckily

Full Tilts suck! The 3 buckle design is genous...but lets remember that technology. Dalbello has actually took that design and made it better! I hate FT cable design, i am sick of breaking cables on the buckles. They need a new design...hence....dalbello!

I bought Raichle and Kneissl Flexons because they fit my skiing feet, and had a soft flex. After 8 pairs, I am tired of the sole wearing out and getting loose in bindings, breaking cables, buckles, tongues, cuffs, and pretty much every other part. I get pretty annoyed when, people tell me, "Those are originals," When before Full Tilt existed, everyone asked why I was wearing such old boots. Why would I pay two to three times as much for the same product I bought 8 years ago? Oh wait, they have cool colors, gismos, and pay cool skiers to sell their product. You can replace the buckles. But you always could if you knew how to use a drill and rivets. You can buy replacement parts. But first, I think I am going to switch to a boot when i don't need to replace something every other week. Second, I could go to a shop, and ask if they had any old Raichles; one shop had a huge pile of boots outside. I usually found new parts there. Now they tell me they have this cool Full Tilt Booter or Hotdogger they can cut me a great deal and sell me for $400. Thanks Full Tilt for making ski boots a great pain in the ass.

1. yes, cool colors

2. gizmos? There's no Gremlins on our boots and they don't turn evil when you get em wet

3. we don't pay pros to use, sell, promote our product

i say they start making boots in a wide size so kids like meh who have monstrously wide feet can fit in them. theirs a thought .

ive never worn full tilts myself but for everyone saying that they are so comfortable and fit like a slipper, remember that a ski boot is not designed to feel good while you walk around in it or try it on, its designed to feel good when you ski with it. i'm not saying that this is necesarily true of FTs but be careful when buying boots just because it is comfortable does not mean that it is good

How many pairs do you give away to athletes a year? You never answered as to how a product that has not been changed for 30? odd years cost 2-3 times as much.

"my feet fucking hurt"

"can you pull over the car so I can take off these boots"

You the first day you rode with your full tilts.

stupid commments.

owned but seriously raichles are so sick i mean i payed 10 dollhairs for mine so how much would it be t replace liner and foot board? less than a new pair of fts thats how much

1. a ton! they keep asking!

2. Our boots aren't 30 years old silly...we made the 09/10's last year in Italy! The mold to make the boots hasn't been changed since it was made a long time ago because its kick ass and lots of people like it. It's OK you don't like, different strokes for different folks.

Moral of the story is there's no wool being pulled over anyone's eyes. We're boot guys and we feel what isn't broke, we don't fix. We've made changes to the look, liner, flex and way you can change out the components but feel changing the way the original flexes, weighs and preforms is pretty great! Lots of pros and skiers agreed, young and old. We're a small company and will keep on growing and making rad boots for all!

If you have any further questions please e-mail info@fulltiltboots.com Thanks!

I think full tilts are bullshit. It is the same exact mold as the real boots from the 70's or something
The only reason they are cool is cuz they marketed the shit out of them."Walnutz has them so they must be cool!"

your a fucking idiot. if they fit your foot then there are one of the best boots money can buy, if they dont fit your foot than they werent ment to fit your foot and you'll have to look for other boots. Yeah so Tom Wallisch rides them because they obviously fit his damn foot and there are a really reliable and all around dope boot. If you have the foot that fits them i guarentee you would love them after you break them in. Some people you could say buy them for the name and they are the people you hear complaining about them but the people that buy them because they actually fit good, you hear no damn complaints!

I just think it's funny how a lot of kids think that 3 piece design is genious and the newest greatest thing to hit freestyle skiing... all I have to say is Dalbello.

have you ever even ridden full tilts? i'll give you a real life example: today i was hitting up the park at my local mountain i had just gotten my skis waxed so they were faster than normal so i drop into a kicker and over shoot that motherfucker like 15 feet into the flat guess what? no fucking shin bang at fucking all. so in conclusion i would like to say full tilts are fucking amazing and you should probably die. and to full tilt your boots as you may have noticed i like very much and i will continue to support you for the comming years. keep being rad

spks are the shit. put a pair of them on once and they felt amazing. but my feet are wide as fuck, its whatever fits ur feet. yeah sure fulltillts may be amazing boot if they fit ur feet, i skied with a pair once and my feet hurt like a mother fucker. if they dont fit, they are shit its like anything, ur not going to ski 169's if ur 6'3 its just logical shit. why is this a thread?

All I can say is that I'm never buying another boot that isn't Full Tilt. And I hope these haters keep hating, cause then there's more sizes left for me to buy.
