ignoring the Influence boots because the sizing is irregular on them, there is no difference between liners in normal 2:1 lasted ski boots. 2:1 lasting means that for 2 sizes (26.0 & 26.5) there is 1 shell. All that changes between the half and whole size is the footbed, which is thicker in the whole size so it feels a bit tighter for 10 minutes. Lange/Rossi go so far as to only offer the half size in their boots (they don't make whole sizes anymore).
Plus with liners being heat moldable, meaning they conform to your foot shape and the shape of the shell, any difference that would have been created with a half-size liner is gone.
