Notice that MSNBC and NBC news never say anything critical of Obama. People from the white house have said at press conferences that they love NBC.

NBC news and MSNBC is supporting and advocating nationalized healthcare, cap and trade, and Obama because their parent companies are going to make billions if these policies pass.

If Fox News was owned by haliburton liberals would have been outraged. This is just another example of the corruption in our government. ACORN is even worse.

If you even think that the news you hear from NBC or MSNBC is remotely more balanced or less influenced than fox news, you need to reconsider you choice of cable news network.
 
This is kinda old news. I dont think anyone really thinks any mainstream media is a reliable source of unbiased information.
 
NBC, MSNBC, and CNN all criticize obama all the time. remember when his "mentor" was a socialist (oh god! the horror!)? all of them were all over that.

In my opinion, GE stands to gain a lot more under a defense-heavy president like bush, as they are one of the biggest defense contractors in the world. The money to be made there overshadows your (IMO, conspiracy theory) health system theory.

PS - If I have to delete this thread, it's not because I disagree with you, it's because they often devolve into useless namecalling and hatefulness
 
i mean why would i defend another stupid 24 hr cable news network. not only are you "stating facts" your stating shit anyone with a half decent head on their shoulders has already figured out.

the only show i watch on MSNBC is olberman, because i find him quite amusing, rather like a daily show if you will. but i also watch hannity for entertaiment. and oreilly. no beck though, he just annoys me.

Hating Fox News doesn't make you pro MSNBC. If you hate one and not the other you should get your head examined.
 
Obviously they are all biased. Everyone thinking person knows this, you shouldn't take either as gospel, its scary that a good number of Americans do.

why do you try and justify what Fox News does by hating on MSNBC. their both just as bad, its just that they skew the "news" to get different effects.

 
sorry, i should have said this: if its any sort of news to you that these companies are owned by corporations and that the way they conduct business is influenced by that, you are in no shape to be talking politics

it is possible to hate news networks in general you know. like, all i watch is ESPN, Cartoon Network (Tom and Jerry for the fucking win), Discovery Channel and many times History channel, and Spike (for UFC stuff) super duper important government things going on ESPN will generally make a note about, especially economic business..... so fuck all news networks.
 
all of the cable news networks suck, they all just cover the same shit with a slightly different bias, but it is all the same information, people need to realize that even though the opinions of the news stations may differ on the issues it is still the same information, people need to start looking at shit like the BBC and other foreign news sources for a less biased view of our news

Weather Channel was bought by NBC last summer. Weather channel=NBC=GE

GE has the Weather Channel shoving the global warming propaganda bullshit down our throats, so they can make money off of their "green" appliances. A great scamming scheme.
 
We all know this now but this has litterly no effect on how the news is reported. The burecratic system is starting to fall and these billionares are going to fall with it, this isn't much of a concern for us as it is our concern for the general overview of burecracy

And I hate NBC, MSNBC, CBS, and Fox News. I guess I do hate Fox worse than the rest of them but then Fox is the only news station that has done something that I personally got fucked over by as reprocussion of, when they did a special report on my weed doctor and made him move out of LA.
 
i think it is funny how in america you are either consevative or liberal, ironically both ideologies are saying " hey I think this is what is best for our country", news,threads on NS, or any government or private cororation has some type of bias, fox news admits being consverative i would argue its opions are pretty strong, i dont like fox for there news coverage but i like tto watch fox because it has different opions from what i have

Fox sucks so much republican dick. Half of their stuff is made up too. NBC is the most believable of them all, most of their information is correct, even if it is weighted in Obamas favor.

All of the things at the bottom that were circled in red...all of the were discussions, not represented as true fact. Notice the fucking question marks. They raise a point and bring people on to discuss it. They are discussions. Yes there is a conservative slant, but almsot all of those are just discussions. But of course a screen shot is all you need. You dont need to see and hear the context of the what was going on.

Same with all of the things with hannity and o reilly. Have you ever watched the show? Yeah O reilly gets out of hand, Ill give you that. But if you actually watch the show and when they interrupt someone, it is because the host asks a question and the guests do not answer it and talk about something else. They dont stop talking when asked and they try to dodge the question. O reilly and hannity just dont want to put up with that BS.

For the shut ups...YES there was more than one. But come on the videos they showed did not help their argument. Almost all of them were him just using the words shut up. In most of them, he wasn't telling a guest to shut up, merely just using the words to make a point in a memo. The last one was not even on his show. And of course we dont get to see the context of these videos either.

The reporting on the insurgents rejoicing at the election, Ill have to look into it. It looks shitty of fox there.

Im skeptical of the data from the first opinion polls too. What about CNN. What about NBC. Most of those questions were bullshit anyways. especially considering there were chemical weapons in Iraq. Not much, but there were.
 
o reilly wasn't that bad. i was expecting a much worse video. he just asked questions and asked for replies. The thing that pisses me off the most about it is the thought of banning a sport nationwide. Im surprised he had this thought. Its a free country. Our freedoms should not be limited. Fox News is owned by News Corporation. They sure don't have any influence on what fox says

So What? What's wrong about having or wanting Green Energy or healthcare for people? Those are noble endeavors, though I don't necessarily agree with nationalized healthcare. Halliburton, as you so blandly put it, would be an outrage if they backed Fox, because Halliburton is responsible for extortion, embezzlement, pollution of the air, use of limited resources, and possibly a few wars. Your premise that it is wrong for large Corporations is false in the first place, because, based on the ends and means they go through, NBC, MSNBC and GE have much better goals.
