question, when you guys roll your blunts, do you put a roach in?

by roach i mean a rolled up piece of cardstock or paper.

am i the only one who does this?

i like it becase it makes it easier to roll, and it lets me smoke all the herb i put into the blunt.

 
sorry for the double post but....

think of it as a filter, so the weed doesnt go in your mouth and there is something to hold when you get to the end
 
I don't know why anyone wouldn't to be honest. it takes very little aditional work, it gives you something to hold without crushing the end you're trying to smoke, and it keeps ash/weed from going into your mouth. Plus it keeps your fingers and lips free of the sticky resin. honestly, I'm always let down when someone else rolls one, and doesnt put a filter in (we call them filters, i guess there's other names for them too) because i know im in for a rough time. like when the end gets all wet and crushed and you have to implode your lung to take a hit.
 
Every single joint I've rolled or smoked has had a filter, unless we don't have anything to make it with.
 
Are u kidding. the only way to roll anything is with a filter, made from cardboard or my favorite, business cards. It makes it way easier to roll, smoke, hold, enjoy. You are wasting your weed if you dont put one in. Its like jesus.
 
does anyone remember when Ninthward put a piece of cardstock that was perferated so you could rip it into perfect little filters? It was about the size of a subscription card and said "WITH LOVE FROM NINTHWARD"

i put filters in joints so i can smoke it all and toss it. i do not put filters in blunts because thats not what tupac would do.
 
ive heard that too, i used to throw them into my js but now im to lazy and usually just try to roll it as fast as possible anyway if you smoke it all the way down your losing such a minuscule amount it doesnt even matter
 
unless were breaking up some large quantity and we just completely fill the dutch, yes. like mrtskier said, you dont need to worry about negro lipping if you throw one in though.
 
I think the biggest amateur mistake is the fact the kid who posted the lyric posted the incorrect lyrics...

I remember when I put time and effort into rolling blunts....
Then I got good at it.
As for the nog lip, dont nog lip it.
 
we call it a crutch, and whenever i roll one i put one in. really helps with the nog lipping and such, and if you dont have a pipe or bong to throw a roach into you can use tweasers as a roach holder when it gets hot.
 
I actually don't. I know its standard fare to, but IMO if you roll a nice enough cone and get it just the right tightness and really pull it off, you don't need one. You can have the mouth end small enough to not pull anything through but still have it loose enough to draw well if you do it right. Its an art though and sometimes you fuck it up and have to rip off the tip and put a filter in anyway.
 
i agree. If you can get it loose enough and have a tiny whole to smoke through it hits perfectly and you dont need a crutch. The tiny hole makes dragging harder but when you roll it looser it gets easier to hit and if you can get the perfect combination Its like a needle of smoke penetrating your lungs.
 
Never heard of that in my life, sounds kinda dumb maybe a noob thing? Idk im usually token my 6ft bong i like to call Yao Ming.
 
generally u dont really put a roach in a blunt. what we do is we burn a small hole in a water bottle and put the end of the blunt in the small hole and breath in the water bottle opening and its real dope
 
i posted in another thread today quoting someone about having the least intelligent post in a long time but this whole thread might cause me to take that comment back.
