i only use filters with spliffs and j's cause you can just rip off some of the zig zag box and use that but if you nice at rollin L's you just make a mouthpiece with the dutch
its not crucial. its personal preference really if im just rolling a j for myself i won't put a filter in, but if im smokin it with a group i will. i def dont roll blunts with filters but iv seen people that do
