last summer i caught a 7lb bass which is huge for minnesota. ill post a pic as soon as i get my phone fixed.

haha i got b rights. i caught a lrg mouth bass about 3 inches long on a rapala lure lol. and i broke my states record for brown bullhead

i just got back from my senior trip, we went to baja. I got a shark, dont have a picture which sucks, wasnt to big, 40 something inches maybe. My friend got a 50 inch 40 pound tuna. And my other friend who was in my boat got a fish on the line that we needed three people to just pull the rod up. we lost it after it dragged us for about a mile though. we put on the engine to try and tire it out and lost it somehow. we think that it got stuck on a rock or something. sucked.

nice yellowfin.

i'm going to be fishing albacore commercially in the pacific for 4 months starting in july.

this picture makes me anxious in a good way!

hahah shit dude, my cousin and i are commercial fisherman. we catch 30 lbers like nothing. i barely have any pictures though. illl see what i can find and post them up.

Got this out of the Naples Creek in NY. They have a trout derby every year on April first.I caught this the day after the derby. It would have won if I had got it on April first. Weighed about 9 an 3/4 pounds

a couple of those are charters and shit caught one on the fly. another picture has the limit of 60 between the two of us in front of us. doesnt really show you guys our biggest fish, but tahts the shit we catch every night we go out.

thats crazy. my cottage is on georgian bay and there was a model of a sturgeon and i asked the guy "when did those go instinct?" and he told me they were still around. i almost shit myself.

as for fishing stories here a story about the one that got away. probably 8 years ago me and my friend were fishing off the dock at my cottage for fun. we kept catching lots of small bass since they lived under the dock. they eventually stopped biting for awhile but we still stayed out there and talked. finally, i got a bite and saw that i caught a small perch. as i was reeling it in with disappointment, a pike darts at this perch and gets caught on my line. me and my friend start flipping and i tell him to go get my mom with the camera. this was when i was young and didnt know about line tension and i had a little kiddy rod (not a elmo one but nothing fancy.) when my friend came back with a camera he found me sitting on the dock with a snapped rod. the next day my mom went snorkelling just for fun to see if she could find the fish we caught. we all knew it was just a sorry excuse for her to snorkle and she wouldnt find it. turns out she finds a huge fish chillin near the bottom of the lake. me and my friend jumped in with nets to try to get it but it just swam away. turns out it wasnt the same fish but it was still cool. im sorry if you read that and i just wasted 5 min of your time.

Im form Saskatchewan, we got good fishing. some of the best freshwater fishing. i dont have many pictures, we do most of our fishing in winter. the lakes we go to are only accessible by two ways, ski-doo in winter or plane in summer (and even then some of them are too small to take off and land so are only ffished in winter, so naturally the fishing is always fucking amazing. Il try and find some pictures of ice fishing, and i got some good ones of lake trout. i did however get a kayak for grad last year so im going to try and make it in to those lakes and portage the ski-doo trails with it

anyone try spear fishing? i have tried a few times just with snorkle gear, but this past summer i got scuba sertified so il take it to the next level. i want to go up north and wait at the base of a wterfall, cant spell the name as it native, but it sounds like "na stoew eeee ak" falls. its on stanly mission.

Dad's Pike

So not too bad.....never EVER been skunked at my lake.
My nephew got a 10 pound bass the other day. Pics up soon.

We have those up on Champlain. One evening last year (mid June 08), My sister was up here sitting on a neighbors deck on the water and they saw this giant creature with spikes on its back out by one of the buoys. They thought it was Champ haha. I told them it was probably a sturgeon. Crazy fish.

truth. I went deep sea fishing with the Yankee fleet a few years ago and for the first couple hours, noone caught a keeper cod. I get lucky and pull up a decent sized wolffish and it looked like that might take the pool by at least 5 pounds. sure enough, 5 minutes later 4 more had been caught, all bigger than mine.

Any NE fishermen remember 3 summers ago in august where there were schoolie blusefin everywhere from NH to CT? A friend of mine caught one off a beach, they were that close. Hoping there will be a similar migration this year...
