18 inch bass i caught last year on a buzzbait in very shallow water.

Not me, but my best friend caught the world record grass carp a couple of weeks ago. 79lb Grass carp

And heres a vid that a company made about it too.

im still tryin to figure out the picture embed thingy but the tuna boat is the Nerka 1, 42ft tri-star (fibreglass) and the two i run are 17'6" double eagle and a 14' hourston skiff.

and the tuna i caught on just a regular green and blue tuna jig

can't say i saw that boat. how does fibreglass feel on the ocean? our boat was wood and people would say that wood feels a lot better out there, but the creaking when you're running up hill and be unnerving on the bad days.

and i'm not surprised it was a green blue. those all worked the best. one of the a-team boats i think it was the pachina all used green blues.

all these are from shore, so i'm pretty limited but...23 inch striper from last summer in RI

My cottage has got some big pike, musky, pickerel, and bass. The biggest I've caught was a 4 foot musky 2 years ago.

thats all we use, mabe one other green/yellow/red in the spread, as for the boat, its the only one that size ive been in in anything over 5 knots of wind, it does have a fairly wide flared bow so its kind of a pain in the ass to buck in but its a fairly stable ride nonetheless

Just killed these fuckers last wednesday bowfishing. We got about 20 or so that day but we just kept these for pictures.

Wow, how have I never seen this thread before??? Stoked it exists, going fishing tomorrow at a favorite little bass hole that always delivers. Hope to have something worthwhile to contribute at the end of the day!

Caught a bunch of bass this weekend, most of them were more than 16 inches but here was the largest 20 1/2 inch 5 pound smallmouth

depends on the kind of halibut. in your case, that halibut is not a fluke. since it lays on its left side. while flukes only lay on their right. but the california halibut lies on its right as well. but if we are only considering the pacific halibut then a fluke is not a halibut.

Yes, I know. It looks like a giant fluke or flounder, so I just called it a fluke on steroids because he said to beat his 32 inch fluke. I am in the commercial fishing industry where fluke and flounder are plentiful, altlantic halibut are very rare where I am.

I just went out for the first time this summer on Lake Champlain and had a little action. I went to 2 heavy hitting bass spots, nothing, then went out into the middle of the bay and got one on the line. Must have been a pike or a walleye because the way it fought for the 5 seconds before it snapped my line was the most outrageous fight I have ever put up. Took my good jig too :( snapped my 12 lb line.

OH HELL YEAH!

D is legit as they come. Glad to see the summer's going well man! (thanks for showing me and Dalt around the 'Satch again!)

just caught this nice 21inch rainbow on opening day this past saturday, biggest one ive ever seen or caught out of this spot, i was so stoked

when i was 10 my dad and i decided to go try fishing in the CT river across the road from my house. neither of us are very experienced or anything, we were just gonna go have fun. we put on some random lure my dad found in an old tackle box in the basement and within 5 minutes pulled in a 17 inch big mouth bass. we were like wut.
