First Drop Frustrations

YOooo NS,

Just wanted to see if any of you folk have had delays on any first drop gear? I ordered a dub x red hoodie like 2 months ago and it still hasnt come in. False promises. Bad times... Anyone else had the same issues?
 
they are a first year company, obviously they won't ship the same way a company like oakley does, just be patient and remember it's always better to support the core companies

First of all...Searchbar. There's discussion on this already in gear talk. Outerwear got shipped out first, then the rest of the stuff.

Second, did you try to get ahold of First Drop??? Maybe try asking them before you make a pissy thread.
 
it probably didn't come 2 months ago because it was on pre-order until a couple weeks ago... i mean, that seems about right, but maybe i'm crazy
 
Before making another god damn useless thread on NS, email first drop. I have recently, and Lesh says that hoodies have gotten delayed... I'm assuming everyone who was complaining had ordered hoodies? That's what it sounded like to me. And since they got pushed back you can get refunds if you want, just like they said at the very beginning of pre-orders.... way-back when.
 
you need to remember that you did not ORDER it two months ago you PREorderd it. They shipped the outerwear a few weeks ago, and im sure the hoodys will ship soon.
 
Cut them some slack.

They're a new company just starting up, so they're still figuring out how to do things. I'm sure they've just ran into unforeseen problems and are doing everything they can to get you your hoodies as well as everything else running smoothly
 
its mega frustrating i got a 2x purp and it hasent came yet...if the outerwear got shipped out a while ago idk the hoodies havent eitherr..shouldnt be taking this long,,
 
yeah it's just frustrating because when i pre-ordered it i was under the impression it would ship on the 13th of December.

had to deal with the same shit from saga last year
 
David is doing an incredible job. As said above, this is a first year company. props david and props first drop!
 
If you don't like it stop bitching and get your money back. If your not going to then dont make a thread that will not in any way help your stuff get there faster. I've seen some of first drops products and they are sweet! for a company that just opened, they are doing a incredible job
 
naw man i hear you. i always have a hard time with my first drop. all you gotta do is take it easy with a straight air or a straight slide then youll be all set to kill it on the second drop.
 
hahahahaI ordered the same thing. but yeah I PMed first drop and they said it would ship out early this week. Have some patience they're a brand new company.
 
Bro settle down, they are coming. And like everyone else who is not completly ignorant you PRE-ordered it, thats why you got free shipping. And I look at this situation in a positive manner, and that when I wear my hoodie for the first time I will get so stoked that my mind will literly explode!
 
Hey all you wonderful NS'ers.
Your frustration is totally justified. You have no idea how enraged I am about the hoodies, we will be going through a different company next year, believe me!
Just to set the record straight, everything is in stock except for the hoodies. The hoodies are set to arrive tomorrow (1/13/10) and we will be shipping around the clock.
Anyone who ordered other stuff should have gotten it, and we have been covering all the extra shipping costs to send stuff separately.
Thanks for your patience, and I'll make sure you all get tracking numbers when your orders go out.

Ugh, I wish I had money to afford new outerwear cause my pants are currently falling apart (4 year old pair of DNAs)... Damn college.
 
nah fuck all you haters. im not retarded, i know i preordered it. however, on the website it said, "all preorders ship dec. 23!" ALLLLL people. its been 3 weeks since then. its getting out of hand. and i know they're a first year company, but so what? get on top of things. if it was 1 or 2 weeks like alright, but now its 3, and they first drop hasnt even received them yet. like cmon
 
So it's first drops fault that the company they ordered the hoodies through didn't get them to First drop on time...okay?

Email I got from first drop on Friday

hanks for purchasing a First Drop hoodie. We have shipped everything out (except the hoodies) and as I'm sure you know, they were delayed beyond our control. We cannot apologize enough for this delay. The hoodies have arrived and we are working around the clock to get them packaged and shipped out. Because of the long delay, we are doing the following:

- including free stickers with each order

- we sent everything else first, and we are covering all extra shipping charges to send the hoodies separately

- paying extra for ground service, so everyone can have tracking numbers

- including a free accessory gift with each order

You should receive a tracking number by Monday, and your order should begin to move by Tuesday. If you decide to cancel your order, that is not a problem, just let us know and we will issue a full refund.

I know...it's sick they are hooking everyone up with free stickers, better shipping, and a free accessorie(whatever that could be)
 
So go start your own business and out do them in a situation like this. They are a small company that is just getting started. Doing something like this and dealing with it when they are small will be hard for them.

Shut the fuck up and realize that they are having a hard time with this hoodie thing.

It seems like they are spending too much time making new fucking outerwear and promoting themselves than doing what they should be doing and pleasing their customers.
 
sounds like they did a great job handling the situation. I usually hate the "oh cut them slack they are new" but, its valid if its out of their hands.
