eehh. Maybe if Finland had some good prog metal. If we are looking at Europe I think that we need to go with Sweden as having the best metal. There is no competition based off of these two:

Meshuggah (obviously)

And Opeth:

 
Hell yeah, Opeth is in my top 5 fav bands. They have AWESOME metal songs, but also killer acoustic albums.
 
I just realized that both bands I mentioned (Opeth and Meshuggah) are on North American tours in Winter/Spring. You going to see either one?
 
hahah what is funny though is Hevisaurus is like a children's metal band. The sing like metal versions of Finnish kids songs

Can you believe how it would feel to start off with nothing, come up with the songs, the costumes, tour for a year on your own money, then get signed on a label (Sony Finland) and they want to take it to the Jurassic Park-style commercialization and take away creative freedom from the band.

Band declines, Sony takes 'em to court and wins. Now Sony owns the brand, songs, future material, they can just get some jackasses from the corner to stuff into the suits for kids to flock upon during a playback show.

Long story short: in Finland, artist beware! Stay independent.
