Can you believe how it would feel to start off with nothing, come up with the songs, the costumes, tour for a year on your own money, then get signed on a label (Sony Finland) and they want to take it to the Jurassic Park-style commercialization and take away creative freedom from the band.
Band declines, Sony takes 'em to court and wins. Now Sony owns the brand, songs, future material, they can just get some jackasses from the corner to stuff into the suits for kids to flock upon during a playback show.
Long story short: in Finland, artist beware! Stay independent.
