I pay 2,38€ a roll and get it developed by Fuji themselves. Pretty awesome.
Toronto lost its last e6 lab end of June. Ottawa, Montreal, and Vancouver all still have e6 labs though.

Anyway, I put a roll of film into the camera and all is good, then when I take a photo the dial (the one on top that shows how many photos you have taken) doesn't move BUT, the roll of film rolls through for about 3 seconds then stops.
I don't think It's actually taking any photos and I'm just waiting an entire roll of film. I had this problem with the first roll of film I bought and then it fixed itself for the second roll but now it's happening again.
What does this mean? How do I fix it? I need help.
oh and sorry if this didn't make sense I didn't really know how to word it and I was in a rush.

13252408:DingoSean said:So wait, this happens only when you put film in the camera, or what? Could it possibly be just advancing the film at the start of your roll in order to have it better loaded onto the spool?
Either way, sounds like you might want to invest in a camera that works well before perhaps wasting another roll of film that's worth at least 3 of those cameras.
13252427:Lachie said:Yea it only happens when I try to take a photo so yea there has to be film in the camera.
But yea I have been planning on investing in a better camera anyway so yea, I would like to try and fix this problem though.
13257983:DingoSean said:I meant like, right when you put it into the camera to load it... and then close it up...
if it's right then, and only then... it's the camera taking shots in order to advance the film for you. If not, then it's broken and useless and I'm sorry, check your local goodwill.

I'm taking a road trip this summer Nd I wanna take some pics with an oldschool film camera. I really like the way old photos look. I'm not a photographer by any means but just wanna document parts of the trip both with film and digitally. I'm planning on taking my dad's Canon t2i. But any recs for a cheap film camera to buy?
Or know of anyone selling?

13279927:Jamartini said:Alright I have a Pentax K1000 and Argus C3, I am shooting with Ultramax 400 on both of them and get my film developed from a pharmacy, as soon as I finish these rolls I plan on loading tri x in to both of them.
So basically I have no idea if I should get a 35mm scanner so I can do it the legit way and just get the negatives developed from the pharmacy if that is possible or just continue to get my stupid CDs.
13280229:JakeSmith said:^ I was originally planning on getting a plustek, but when I started getting into medium format I got a v600 instead. It's not as much of a pain in the ass as people say for 35mm (or 120)
13290907:Blake.P said:Stupid question but how do you guys store your film? Do you freeze/refrigerate it and if so, are there any precautions you take when doing so?
