There's way too much but top 3:
1. Doin shit with the homies in a competitive, insane manner out in nature. How can you beat spending time with the people you view as family in gorgeous settings doing amazing things?
2. Having something to put all your energy and thought into that gives back. When you put serious effort into skiing, it gives back in experiences and skill. A healthy outlet for all that energy and need for purpose. Wayyyy better rate of return than my day job honestly and I even kinda like my job.
3. Kinda hard to explain, but in day to day life I feel like I am always holding back for some reason or another. Being able to charge 30 mph+, jump cliffs, send flips and spins etc and just not hold back and let all that energy run wild is such an amazing feeling. Its cathartic. I crave that after ski feeling of contentment and soreness that can only be achieved after a day spent to the fullest.
