At the mountain today we had a long jump contest after the big air. I got 77 feet, the winner got 87. What is your guys farthest jumps you've measured? for you canadians 77 feet is like 99999 million meters (with the exchange rate that is)

Hahaha! You do know that 3 feet is about 1 meter. So 77 feet would be more like 26 meters. Hahah, gotta love those Americans, always good for a laugh!

Haha- we had a 'distance' competition at my mountain, too. It pissed me off so much; I wanted to do TRICKS, not have a goddamn distance- jumping competition. So I did a 45-foot 900 and got judged on the 45 feet, not the 900.

how do you have distance competitions exactly? are you landing on the flat hill? i don't get it... what's stoping people from exploding from overshooting the landing (whatever the landing is)

this year on the nationals table. its a 55' table and some people were saying it wasnt big enough. i thought it was perfect. we were doing about 60-90 feet of of it. it had a huge landing

we set up a 130 foot gap last weekend in the backcountry..needless to say some boarder guinied it, and made it ooohhh about half way....so the organizers nixed that jump. would've like to see a skier hit it though.

ya okemo had a 85fter last year give or take 5ft about it was pretty nuts... it was like a 60fter then the 85 fter into say a 65-70fter hehe they were definantly really intense but was fun being in the air that long

 
100 + ft 1080 to level 3 concusion at Tremblant cote obsur 3 years ago, if u were there tell me about it cauz i don't remember much.

Distance is not cool... I guess it's something to say you've done but there are stupid people that could just go jump any table 100 feet and eat shit to say hey dudes I went the farthest.

rory will misjudged a table, he went 190 feet. I don't care who wants to argue with me I was right there. It's not cool end of story.

gordo i was there in early june and im not for sure how long the last hit in the park was but our counselor Tim you might know him.. said it was a 60 foot table i was just taking his word for it, it was pretty nice though

for u guys saying u dont judge how far you go.. it not like we go out to the jumps with a ruler stick. just estimate or look on websites and talk to people that makes the jump..how big the jump is just seems to come up in alot of conversations.

and OZSKIER, the last jump at mount snow wasnt 60 ft this year. maybe last year (u talking about the last hit in the gravity grail right?)

well, this one time i was fuckin on one day. so everyone was encoureging me to try this trick id been working on.... and i knew i could do it if put my heart into it. so i did it and blew everyone away.......... spread eagle over the biggest roller you've ever seen.
