Farthest you guys have jumped

i'm not sure on distance nor on how far i dropped, but in Febuary i launched the cornice at Blue Sky Basin going like 30 MPH , exploded, and ended up cartwheeling like a billion times. the cornice is only like 5 feet tall, but it drops away pretty quickly and i started to get speed from like 200 feet up and sort of arc into it. I'm not sure exsactly how big i went, it might not have been that big at all, but i felt like i was in the air forever. I have a pic that my brother took from just below where i launched just after i hit it, but i still need to make prints of the film. damn i'm lazy. after that crash i also decided not to where a full face anymore as my neck got all tweaked.

i got a vid of me eating it on a 180. which was 70 feet. the tables only 40' so i was landing pretty far down

 
I really hate to do this to all of you....but my personal record for distance on skis...is 120 meters (that's 387 feet). Done in Park City Utah. other than that, i've gone 105 meters in michigan, and 118 in Calgary Ab. Canada

ohh i just figured it out. your a ski jumper. still a very good jump for ski jumping though.

yup...ski jumper..that's a decent jump (if anyone saw the olympics...that's the same jump i did that on...in the olympics the furthest jump was 136 meters...so a 16 further than me)the world record right now is 225 meters...which is over 750 feet i think

 
One of the greatest distance jumps that i have ever seen was in TGR's Further... Candide goes 120 feet over a gap in Utah, you can see the video at www.tetongravity.com

 
that's chad's gap...120 feet..he did a d-spin 720 over it...that was powder magazine's trick of the year last year (or whenever that was)

 
I did a couple of 90-100 feet gap, but I cant imagine anyway to do a 200meter jump...

at 7 springs they supposivly had a 55ft table. It was hard to get speed for it, but it shot you high. I tried some 3's and landed about half of them. You just float for what seems forever. I was gonna try a back, but i thought i would overroate it bigtime. goin big is the only way to go

That ski jumping stuff is fucking insane.

225 metres... that's longer than TWO FUCKING FOOTBALL FIELDS.

i haven't really hit any 'huge' kickers but once at kirkwood i was skiing down and there's a part where the run drops off where usually you can get good air, and it's pretty safe, but this day i hit it at full speed expecting what i usually deal with, but not only was there a lip there but also a headwind, which proceeded to lift my skis and make them act as sails, so i accidently went 70-80ft, maybe more.

in a park probably like 50, but i'm sure i've gona further off some random natural feature like a roll or isolated mogul that i hit while skiing really fast......you dont need to go that high to go mad far when you're doing like 40 mph.
