Elizabeths

i skied them at test fest, and i personally thought they were the worst ski i have ever been on. so soft it's a joke. maybe some people like them, but i couldn't see how.

from untracked.com:

" Line Skis has only one Pro Model ski and it belongs to none other than Mr. Eric Pollard. Line allowed Eric to create his own ski and for 2005/2006 Pollard created the world's most progressive powder freestlye ski to date. The Elizabeth features a wide 110mm platform, symmetrical flex pattern, and an extra deep snowboard- like sidecut. It even features Line Skis new Quickmount 6 Pack providing the option of center mount or set back for deeper pow. The Line Elizabeth is a real twin tip inspired by Pollard who is one of the leaders in using twin tips in the backcountry. Line's Elizabeth is Eric's personal creation from geometry to graphics, now available to you.

Line Skis has produced a Quickmount Six Pack which has 6 inserts for two Line binding mounting positions. With the new six pack you can re-mount your Line bindings back 43mm in seconds for the extra deep powder skis. Don't be left with out a pair of Line Elizabeth Skis by Eric Pollard.

they absolutely rip. i have skiied them twice now and they kill everything and are really poppy and fun to butter on. the only thing they arent very good at is hauling ass in chopped up snow becuase its hard to hold an edge since they are so soft.

i would recommend them for sure.

most fun skis I have ever tried, so fun to pop out of powder with, act just like a snowboard as pollard intended

i live in NH and i have a friend who uses them every day. hes the biggest fucking thug ever for absolutely shredding dank gnar with fat ass skis on solid ice. i believe these skis only enhance this.

they're really fun skis. they are soooo at home in fresh pow, especially in the trees. if you ski a lot of steep stuff or a lot of chopped up snow/crud, you're gonna want something beefier. i ski about 50% trees (whenever there's fresh) and they are just so flippin sick. i can take lines through trees that i wouldn't even dream of trying on my other skis. plus the symmetricalness makes them sick switch. they need to constantly be on edge though. they hold an edge great, but going straight is sketchy. they definitely aren't fast either.

it's been said over and over, but i'll say it again. these aren't a big mountain ski. fun as hell though
