Elizabeth vs blend??

i am 5"8 and 130 pounds i spend 60% of my time messing around in the park and in trees and 40% in powder. i am also kind of worried that the blends will be too stiff.
 
I would go with the elizabeth

obviously, the lizzies are wider, if that makes a difference to you and will mos def KILL it in the trees and off booters

 
i have both i use my elizabiths for park i used them last year for both park and pow but i am going to go with the bents this year for pow so if you are looking for some sick pow skis go for the bents

id go lizzies. blends are heavier and stiffer. i demoed blends and liked them a lot for freeski, but i ski on elizabeths now, cause they're good in park, really light, and fun. and they kill it in powder too.
 
i was wondering this same question. since im going to school up north next year, im gonna want a pair of fatter all mountain skis. these are my 2 choices, but im afraid that the lizzy will be too short. i have chronics for park and i want something just to fool around all mountain, hit up the trees, hit up the park, little bit of everything. i have felt the lizzies and they are real soft, but i have seen people ripping on the hard pack with them.
 
2 almost completly opposite skis. the lizzies r buttery and playfull. and the blends, r a bit stiffer, and good on jumps

he's talking about 09 belnds just to clarfify .
he is about 5'8"-10" probably 120-140lbs
he skis mostly powder/ all mtn and a tiny bit of park
mostly jumps 10-30 no or few spins little or no rails
last year skis armada elrays
he skis in central idaho average decent ammount of snowfall
hope that helps for all you people just throwin out that lizzies are cool because they flop around like noodles
 
im 5'8" 145 lbs. I ski a lot of park, cause im from new hampshire. but i ski trees/pow whenever i can. I've demoed the '09 blends a lot in new Zealand this summer. i almost bought them but i went for Lizzies instead. and im stoked that I did. The Blends are a LOT heavier. trust me. Lizzies are a lot better for park and they are fine as an all mtn ski. sick in pow. I use my lizzies as my everyday ski now. i just took em to a rail jam last weekend at gunstock lol.

lizzies don't flop around that much, especially for your size. i used to race FIS and i RARELY feel like they're noodles when shredding groomers, and if your going that fast on groomers in the first place get a ski w/o a 17m radius thats 172cm. learn to ski centered and get em, you won't be dissapointed

unless you like skiing chopped up shitty old powder and moguls all the time, because they definately suck for that, then i would suggest blends.

The thread is over, feel free to bump the thread if you feel like you are spiraling downward in a dilemma between these two ski choices,which i doubt because they are two completely different skis and only a mere fool would compare them. if your specs match that of the thread makers bump, otherwise.
